Building a Futuristic Ocean Liner: The Design Process
Have you ever wondered what it takes to design a futuristic ocean liner? In this article, we will explore the fascinating process of building a modern and technologically advanced ship.
The design process begins with envisioning the ship’s concept. For this project, we imagined a 300-meter long naval blue futuristic ship. We started by creating a third of the ship and extended it to meet our vision. We even added an observation deck to the bow, despite the challenges it posed.

The stern of the ship was designed to have a traditional appearance with modern functionality. We incorporated a mixture of modern and traditional elements, creating a unique architectural design. The superstructure was carefully constructed, with an arch going up and another at the front, giving the ship a futuristic feel.
One of the challenges we faced was the length of the bow, which turned out to be too short. To address this, we made a gradual increase in the height of the superstructure to disguise the issue. Although it was not perfect, it added to the ship’s futuristic appeal.
We also included a 40-meter off-tech gear room for entertainment and designed an old superstructure that complemented the overall design. The main deck houses were built to support the funnels.
Despite our efforts, the funnel design did not meet our expectations. It looked horrible and was a disappointment. However, we believe that the overall design of the ship is still impressive.
In conclusion, the process of designing a futuristic ocean liner is a complex and challenging task. It requires attention to detail, creativity, and a deep understanding of naval architecture. Although we faced some setbacks along the way, we are proud of the final result. Our futuristic ocean liner stands as a testament to the possibilities of modern shipbuilding.
