Hello friends, welcome to this new and exciting video on using ChatGPT with Google Sheets. Today, we will learn how to use ChatGPT in Google Sheets for our day-to-day tasks.
In our previous videos, we have already seen the GPT functions used in Google Sheets, as well as how to install the ChatGPT extension. Now, let’s dive into some examples.
First, let’s say we want to find three taglines for an ice cream shop. We can simply use the GPT function and provide the prompt to generate the taglines.
Next, let’s consider a scenario where we have a list of names with additional information, and we want to extract only the names. We can use the GPT fill function with an example range and input range to achieve this.
Now, let’s explore the translation feature. Suppose we have a sentence in English and we want to translate it to another language, such as Spanish. We can use either the GPT function or the GPT translate function to accomplish this.
Moving on, let’s say we have an address and we want to extract the state, country, and street from it. We can use the GPT extract function and specify the text and what we want to extract.
If we come across a text with grammar mistakes or errors, we can use the GPT edit function to correct it. Simply provide the text and the function will help you make the necessary edits.
Lastly, let’s say we want to create a table with the names of three fruits and their nutritional data. We can use the GPT table function and provide the prompt to generate the table.
In conclusion, we have learned how to utilize the power of ChatGPT in Google Sheets for various tasks. By using functions like GPT fill, translate, extract, edit, and table, we can easily process data and generate desired outputs. These features make data processing in Google Sheets more efficient and convenient.
