Using ChatGPT in Twitch Chat with Lumia Stream

Using ChatGPT in Twitch Chat with Lumia Stream

Ty is on everyone’s lips and it seems that it will be indispensable in the future. So we give you what you want to use, starting with Lumia stream version 7.0. You can now use ChatGPT directly in your Twitch chat. To do this, you first need to connect your ChatGPT account to Lumia. Go to Connections in the left sidebar, click on ‘Add New Connection’ and enter ‘ChatGPT’ in the search field. Click on the connection and then on ‘Next’ in the setup window. Enter your ChatGPT API key (how to get it is explained in a small tutorial on the right side). After you have entered your API key in the field, click on ‘Connect’ and ‘Refresh’. Now you check if your GPT account is connected and ready. Under ‘Commands’ > ‘Chatbot Commands’, you will find the entry ‘ChatGPT’ as well as the ‘Shout Out’ command we have already set up for you. You can now execute the command ’exclamation mark chatGPT’ followed by your question in your chat, and the AI will answer you. But let’s get back to the Chatbot command. Click the little edit pen, the command will open and give you some options. The first option you see is the system message field. Here you can influence the AI of ChatGPT a little bit and for example teach it facts that the AI simply cannot know. In our example, we told it what Lumia Stream is. Write ‘Q:’ for the question you want the AI to answer, followed by ‘A:’ for the answer. This is a temporary manipulation, if you delete this field, ChatGPT will also forget the information. In the next field, ‘ChatGPT Model’, you can enter which ChatGPT model you want to use. By default, this is set to the 3.5 minus turbo model, but you can also simply enter the newer model. Now we come to the ‘Temperature’ and ‘Top P’ fields. Temperature uses probabilities and does not evaluate them. Simply put, you can get several different answers to the same question because it simply randomizes the words together to make them make sense. Here you can enter a value between 0 and 2. The higher the value, the more randomly an answer will be generated. Higher values like 0.8 will make the output more random, while lower values like 0.2 will make it more focused and deterministic. Top P is the opposite of random. Here, the AI weights the probability and uses its own filters to exclude words that are less likely. You can also choose a value between 0 and 2. The smaller the value, the lower the chance. So 0.1 means only the tokens comprising the top 10 probability mass are considered. Important thing is that you don’t use both at the same time because both cancel each other out. From now on, it will be easier to understand. Again, the next field is called ‘Max Tokens’. Here you set how long an answer from the AI can be. This is not simply 50 equals 50 words. Roughly, you can save five letters are one token, and space is also a token. Some words are weighted heavier and use more tokens. 50 tokens are about 260 characters and 100 tokens are about 525 characters. If you set this to zero, ChatGPT will output infinite characters. And then we are back to default Lumia settings. You can give the command a different name if you want, give a description for the commands page, select whether the command should be displayed on the commands page, enter a delay and a duration. However, the duration has no influence on the response. And of course, you can select which user level is allowed to use the command. Do you use ChatGPT in your stream? Write it in the comments, subscribe to the channel so you don’t miss any updates, and like the video. Have a luminous day.
