What’s up everybody? I want to make this quick video to go over some functionalities in ChatGPT. I’m sure you’ve probably heard of ChatGPT at least once before, so this isn’t a video introducing ChatGPT, but rather showing some different use cases I found for it.
As you may have possibly read already, ChatGPT is most known for its functionality of being able to generate content for you upon request. For example, you can optimize it around a keyword, like ’test,’ ‘Miami,’ or ‘foreign.’ This seems to be the most common use for it.
However, what I find very interesting is that you can actually use ChatGPT as almost a live search engine. You can ask it many different questions, and it’ll source the information from the internet and provide you with what it determines to be the best answer. Of course, you should double-check and use your own judgment and research, just like when searching on Google.
One limitation is that it’s currently set up for a date. For example, if you ask who won the 2023 NBA finals, the data models are only run through 2021. So, it may not have the most up-to-date information. However, you can still ask it questions like ‘Who were the producers of Dr. Dre’s album The Chronic?’ or ‘What is the total dollar amount of damage calculated for Hurricane Andrew?’. It can give you certain answers, but you may need to expand on those answers depending on what you’re looking for.
Overall, ChatGPT is a powerful tool, both for content generation and as a search engine. It’s definitely worth exploring and playing around with. You can initially sign up and use it for free, and if you find it useful, you can upgrade to the Premium plan for only $20 a month. So, go ahead and give it a try!
Thank you for watching, and have a fantastic day!
