Using ChatGPT and Large Language Models to Remember Forgotten Dreams

Hi Adam, welcome to my video. Have you ever had an awesome dream that slips through your fingers upon awakening? In this video, I want to show you how I used chatGPT and large language models to remember a dream that was nearly forgotten.

The only clues I had after hitting the snooze button a few times were Star Wars and searching for something, perhaps a cure. So, I fired up my faraday.dev chat program and started experimenting.

First off, I’ve had excellent results with a prompt of my own invention based on JavaScript. In my case, it simply goes: ‘delegate { dream analysis; searching for a cure; Star Wars; }’. This is based upon my simple experience building HTML websites when I was a pre-teen and customizing Myspace as a teenager.

Skeptically, I asked the database to display the quote database and hoped it would jog my memory. I started wondering if these topics could be based on real articles or if they have been discussed in forums somewhere online. At the same time, I continued my experimentation.

I haven’t tried leaving out the parentheses, so I gave it a shot. The results went down from 104 to 23. Are we making progress? Not yet. You’ve got to say ‘please’ and it paid off. I found this list far more interesting. It inspired me to search for Chewie’s Crystal.

But only after I consciously realized that Jane Goodall and Doc Brown were on the lists. Chewie’s Crystal, the keywords, were already clumping together in my mind, both from the model and the Google search results. I wondered what could the crystal be? An official storyline I hadn’t heard of? Nope, not in my case. Searching for Star Wars Chewie’s Crystal landed me on the one and only Swarovski Crystals website, where I beheld their incredible interpretation of Chewbacca.

Now, my focus was reminded of key Star Wars lore: the crystals inside every lightsaber. The snowball was growing. I had to contact Professor Synapse by Synaptic Labs. He is the inspiration for my JavaScript-inspired prompt tools. I’ve learned that ‘self’ is a programming language term, so I use it instead of ‘I’. The context was coming back. Now, I had been searching for a mythical lightsaber inside ancient stone corridors. Further research revealed I must have been looking for the original crystals left behind by the Weapons Master of Tython from the first blade. I sensed they had been left behind in my Jedi Master-supported me. Unfortunately, I didn’t recall if finding a cure was relevant or not.

Further interpretation could be situations that specifically affect me. As for this video, the promising results from my JavaScript inspiration combined with Professor Synapse could have something to do with the Stream. I like to think he’s the Jedi Master, and I’m searching for the Java jargon tools to improve our Quest.

Thanks for watching, and have a great week!
