Using Chain of Density for Summarizing Longer Form Content

Using Chain of Density for Summarizing Longer Form Content

You need to summarize something I have come up with an interesting path to do. The easiest way is just to show you. This was a Twitter post by Lior, talking about a new prompting style called chain of density. It is primarily used for summarizing longer form content without losing important details. Yellow limbs tend to lose important details when summarizing. Once I had this, it led me to a paper. As I was reading the paper, I realized that I needed the prompt, but it was a picture. I took a picture of the picture using screen capture and then ran it into Google bard. Google bard allowed me to load the image and perform OCR accurately. I then copied the prompt and put it in Sublime Text for formatting. After that, I went to ChatGPT, using web pilot to enable the AI to read the article. I used a personal link to avoid spamming. Finally, I pressed the purple button to generate the summary. The AI used web pilot to read the article and generated a summary using the chain of density concept. The summary included insights from the article on llm fine tuning, atom Optimizer, residual connections, and stochastic gradient descent. This dense summary is a useful guide for machine learning students as they tackle the full article. It helps create new connections and aids in learning. Reading the article after the summary allows for a better understanding of the content. I hope you enjoyed this rapid-fire demonstration of using chain of density for summarization.
