Using Artificial Intelligence Tools to Generate Recipes

Using Artificial Intelligence Tools to Generate Recipes

Hi friend, today I am going to show you how you can use artificial intelligence tools to generate the exact recipes you need for free. We are now in an age where AI is simple and widely available, making many different tasks simpler and easier, including cooking. Let me show you how to bring the power of AI into your kitchen so that you never need to scramble for a recipe again.

I am Dr. Ryan Williams, your host and the founder of GrowingPure, where I help you make vegan cooking and health fast, simple, and mind-blowingly tasty. Personally, I am pretty big on the deeper understanding when it comes to food, cooking, and nutrition. Recipes in isolation, no matter where they come from, are kind of skin deep. Sure, you’re going to make a great meal that night, but are you really learning the principles underlying the cooking? Are you absorbing the skills you’re going to need to make great food in the future?

It’s a bit like the old saying, you know, “Give a man a fish, and you’ll feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you’ll feed him for a lifetime.” Well, it’s kind of like this. Give someone a recipe, and they’ll eat dinner for that night. But teach someone to cook wholesome, nutritious, delicious food, and they will be set for life. But having said that, recipes are still a really useful tool, and AI can be a great way of getting the exact recipes you need with specific criteria that you put in.

Let me show you how we’re going to do it. First up is a tool called ChatGPT. Even if you haven’t used it, you have probably heard of it. This tool has been used for all kinds of things, and we can really just write what we want with it. For example, we can say, “Give me a recipe for vegan gluten-free risotto made with broccoli and garlic.” For argument’s sake, let’s see what it comes back with. It takes a little bit of a moment, but actually, you know, this is pretty good. It gives us a full ingredients list and instructions like you would find in any recipe book. If there is something we want to change about the recipe, we can have a conversation with ChatGPT and ask it to include or modify certain ingredients.

Another tool we can use is Foodie.com’s AI Recipe Generator. This tool allows us to enter a list of ingredients that we want to include in a recipe, and it will create a recipe for us. We can also specify quantities if we only have a certain amount of an ingredient. For example, let’s say we have sweet potatoes, cherry tomatoes, avocado, chili flakes, green beans, and chickpeas. Let’s see what it comes up with. It suggests a chili roasted sweet potato and chickpea bowl, which includes the ingredients we specified. It even provides instructions on how to prepare the dish.

The third tool we can use is Dishgen.com. This tool is similar to the previous two but is more focused on creating recipes. We can either tell it to create a specific recipe or enter a list of ingredients we have on hand. It will generate a recipe based on the ingredients we provide. For example, we can ask it to create a recipe for a vegan lentil lasagna with basil. It will give us a list of ingredients and instructions on how to prepare the lasagna.

These three AI tools are powerful and free to use. They can help you never be stuck without a recipe again. However, it’s important to note that while these tools can provide recipes, they won’t teach you how to be fast and efficient in the kitchen. For that, I want to give you a free gift: my time-saving kitchen guide. It includes my top five time-saving hacks that you can use whenever you’re preparing food. You can find the link in the description below.

Thank you so much for watching, and I hope you found these AI tools helpful. If you would like to explore more recipes, you can watch my video on the best vegan cookbooks for beginners. See you in the next video!
