Let’s start by asking the question: What is our goal with product research? Your number one aim as an Amazon seller is to launch a product that customers think is great. We need to add value with our product, offer a product that’s better than the competition, and give customers a reason to buy our product rather than the competitors. This is where the great product effect comes into play.

The great product effect is the phenomenon where a great product generates high sales and positive reviews. It’s not something that happens by accident or by launching an okay product. Your product has to be great, resonating with customers and surpassing the competition.

Imagine launching a product that makes 3K per month in sales and receives a thousand positive reviews. Customers would feel confident in the quality of your product, and you would have a competitive edge.

So, how can we use AI to help us launch great products? One way is to analyze customer reviews. By looking at the reviews of similar products, we can identify what customers care about, what they want the product to do, and what issues they have with the competition. This data can help us improve our product and make it better than the rest.

Traditionally, this process of analyzing reviews can be time-consuming and challenging. However, with AI, we can extract and analyze all the reviews using chatGPT. By inputting the review data into chatGPT, we can get insights into what customers want and how to create a great product.

For example, let’s say we want to sell a spatula. We can click on the listing and analyze the reviews to figure out what customers care about. We can then export the reviews and ask chatGPT to analyze the data for us. This process allows us to gather valuable information about the product, such as ergonomic design, premium and durable materials, and other features that customers desire.

By using AI for product research, we gain a competitive edge in the marketplace. We can launch products that meet customer needs and expectations, leading to higher sales, positive reviews, and a great profit margin.
