This is the home page of our application, Trippy. It provides users with information about the features and the team behind the application. Let’s start by signing up a user named Kim. After a successful sign-up, Kim can visit the dashboard page, which provides travel trends in the USA. Additionally, users can plan a trip. In this case, Kim wants to plan a trip to New York on the 13th and 14th of the month. The location and dates are required fields, while preferences are optional. Kim is interested in the nightlife and sets a budget of $200.
The itinerary for the trip to New York is generated based on the mentioned preferences. The application suggests various bars and integrates Google Maps to show the location of these places. Users also have the capability to add members to the trip. For example, let’s add Sakshi K and update the itinerary. Sakshi will receive a notification that Kim has added her to the trip. The user profile section provides information about upcoming and past trips. From here, Sakshi can view the trips she has been added to.
If Sakshi wants to modify her preferences, she can do so in the user profile section. She can change her preferences to museums and parks and adjust the budget accordingly. The itinerary will be updated and personalized based on these changes. The map will reflect the updated itinerary. Users also have the option to add itineraries to their favorites and choose the visibility of their itineraries, whether public or private.
Lastly, users can download their itineraries in PDF format.
