I’m sure that you have seen motivational short videos like this all over YouTube with tons of views. Let me tell you the truth: these videos are useless. Don’t do it. You want to know why? YouTube will not let you monetize these types of videos due to reused content. All of your effort and time will be for nothing. Instead of using this same content, let me show you a method to generate any amount of motivational shorts in minutes with the power of AI. And of course, you will be able to monetize these videos. You can use these videos on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
So first, let me show you an example short I created using this method. David Gogin once said, ‘Suffering is a test, that’s all it is. Suffering is the true test of life.’ You can start your own motivational YouTube channel with these short videos. Let’s start this process. First, we need to find motivational phrases. I will use ChatGPT for that. I will use this specific prompt in ChatGPT to get all the information in the table. You can use this exact prompt or create your own version. As you can see in the first column, we have the person’s name, and in the second column, we have the motivational phrase.
Now we need to generate voiceovers for our video. 11 Labs is my favorite text-to-speech AI. It’s very easy to use and it gives free 10,000 characters. So sign up for your account and let’s generate the voiceovers. You can select a suitable voiceover from the settings. The funny thing is, with 11 Labs, you can clone your voice. It’s a really amazing feature. As you saw in the example video, first, we should generate the voice line like ‘David Gogin once said,’ and then we should add the motivational phrase. Then you can generate the voiceover.
Now that we are done with voiceovers, let’s head over to Canva to edit our video. Go to Canva and sign up. It has a 30-day free trial. From here, let’s select YouTube shorts. We are going to create a template. Let’s add a background video. Go to elements and type what you need. In this case, I will use a video of a running man. Let’s adjust its size suitable for the template.
Now we need to add text layers. First, I will add a text layer to represent the person’s name. In this case, David Gogin. As you can see in the top menu, there are several options available. You can change the font, change text color, and add different types of text effects. I would recommend you to use a suitable text effect. If your background is darker, use light colors. If your background is lighter, use dark colors. Now let’s add another text layer for motivational phrases. Let’s use a different font for this. Just like I explained before, add suitable text effects to this as well.
Now we need to edit the timing of these text layers. Right-click on the text layer and select ‘Show Timing’. After that, a purple bar will appear on the timeline. By editing this purple bar, you can change the timing of each text layer. I will set motivational phrases to appear after the first 2 seconds.
Now you can add your logo at the bottom of the video. Okay, now go to apps and select bulk editing. Then select ‘Enter Data Manually’. Now copy the data we generated using ChatGPT and paste it here. Let’s rename this column to ‘Motivational Phrase’. We can generate all 10 videos at once, but first, we need to connect this motivational text layer to all phrases. Right-click on it and select ‘Connect Data’. From here, select the motivational phrases. Now you have connected all the data.
Let’s add inspiring background music to our video. I will use pixabay.com for that. You can select any suitable music from here and download it. Then upload it to Canva and add it to the timeline. Now all you need to do is press ‘Generate’. It will automatically generate all your shorts.
The final step is adding all voiceovers to these 10 shorts. I think you remember that we generated voiceovers for motivational phrases. Now add the suitable voiceover to a suitable clip. With that, we are all done. Go to ‘Share’ and download the files. Make sure to select ‘Download as Separate Files’. Using this method, you can generate any number of motivational shorts. But be creative as well. Add new things to this method and create your own type of content. It will help your channel to grow fast.
