The Rise of Microsoft's Search Engine

Microsoft’s search engine has seen a significant increase in daily activity since integrating the chat board chatGPT. This move potentially signals a shift in the long-rigged market. According to a blog post by Microsoft, they have blocked over a million new features, bringing their total user base to more than 100 million.

The increase in usage of Microsoft’s search engine can be attributed to a boost in relevancy since launching its chat DVD powered Pro Mathias model. About a third of daily preview users are now using the chat feature on a daily basis. Additionally, Microsoft has seen a boost in usage of its Edge platform over the past several quarters.

Microsoft’s investment in artificial intelligence research company, OpenAI, has also contributed to the growth of their search engine. The company believes that their search engine is due for a renovation and has been working on revamping it. Integrations with other platforms have been smooth, and users have reported positive experiences.

While Google remains the dominant platform in the search engine market, Microsoft’s search engine has been gaining market share and is now approaching 10 percent. This growth is significant and shows that Microsoft’s search engine is becoming a strong competitor to Google.

It remains to be seen how Microsoft’s search engine will continue to grow and compete with Google in the future.
