Hello friends, I hope you are doing well. Welcome back to your own YouTube channel, Achievers Data Engineering. My name is Gyanend, and in this video, we are going to talk about ChatGPT. Yes, it is nothing new in the market. Everyone is using and talking about ChatGPT, whether you are a data engineer, an IT professional, a salesperson, working in the marketing department, or a businessman. Everyone is utilizing the power of ChatGPT.
In this video, we will discuss some practical use cases and see how we can solve real-world scenarios by leveraging the power of ChatGPT. If you are a data engineer or a data analyst working on reporting or any data-related stuff, this video is for you.
Before we dive into the practical use cases, let’s see how we can navigate to chatgpt.com. If you haven’t registered on ChatGPT, you can go to chat.openai.com and sign up there. It’s completely free of cost. Once you are registered and able to login, you will see a plain and simple screen. ChatGPT is a text-based responsive model, so all the questions and responses will be in text format.
There are two versions of the ChatGPT model available right now. The first one is GPT 3.5, which is a free version available for public use. The next one is GPT 4, which is a paid version. However, based on my experience, GPT 3.5 is enough to explore and get what we need from ChatGPT.
In the ChatGPT window, you will find four example prompts already given. You can click on a response, and it will be pushed as a question to ChatGPT. Based on the question, ChatGPT will return a response. All the conversations or questions asked and responses received are saved in the form of a conversation.
If you are not happy with the answer provided by ChatGPT, you can click on the regenerate option, and it will regenerate the answer with some changes. You can also ask follow-up questions without repeating the initial question. ChatGPT will automatically identify it as a follow-up question based on the topic being discussed.
Now, let’s explore some practical use cases of ChatGPT:
-
Generating Code: You can ask ChatGPT to write code in Python or SQL. For example, you can ask it to create a data frame from a public sales dataset or write a SQL code to show month-wise total sales from a sales table.
-
Fixing Bugs: If you have existing code with errors, you can ask ChatGPT to identify and fix the bugs. It will analyze the code and suggest corrections.
-
Writing DAX: If you are working on Power BI reports, you can ask ChatGPT to write DAX code for calculations or aggregations.
-
Preparing PPT Content: ChatGPT can suggest slide-wise content for a PowerPoint presentation. You can ask it to generate content for specific topics or themes.
-
Creating Learning Paths: If you want to learn a new technology or prepare for a certification, you can ask ChatGPT to create a learning path for you. It will suggest topics to cover and the time to spend on each tool or concept.
-
Interview Questions: ChatGPT can suggest interview questions for specific technologies or experience levels. You can prepare for interviews by going through these questions and their answers.
-
Event Planning: You can ask ChatGPT to suggest event ideas for parties or gatherings. It will provide suggestions for activities, games, food, and more.
-
Almost Anything: ChatGPT can answer almost any question or provide information on various topics. You can ask about history, technology, entertainment, and more.
These are just a few examples of what you can do with ChatGPT. The possibilities are endless. It’s like having an expert at your fingertips.
In addition to ChatGPT, there is a bonus AI tool called Gamma that can help you generate PowerPoint presentations. You can sign up on gamma.app and select the presentation option. Based on the topic you provide, Gamma will generate a presentation with suggested content and themes. You can download the presentation and customize it as per your needs.
In conclusion, ChatGPT and AI tools like Gamma have revolutionized the way we interact with technology. They have made complex tasks easier and more accessible. Whether you are a data engineer, a student, or a business professional, these tools can help you save time and enhance your productivity. So, why not give them a try?
