The Power of ChatGPT in Copywriting

The Power of ChatGPT in Copywriting

ChatGPT has been the talk of the marketing town for 2023. As copywriters, we cannot ignore its impact. Every day, more and more YouTubers claim that you can make thousands a day by using chatGPT to cheat at copywriting and generate content. As an in-house copywriter, I decided to experiment with chatGPT to see what all the fuss is about.

In this article, I will show you how I used chatGPT to create a blog about story writing. If you’re interested in writing fiction or making a career out of writing, this article is for you.

Writing a book can be a mammoth task, so I decided to break it down into manageable steps using the snowflake method. The title given to me by chatGPT was ‘Crafting Literary Masterpieces: Unveiling the Magic of the Snowflake Method’s First Three Steps.’ While it may sound impressive, it is too long and not in my tone of voice. In a world where attention spans are short, a snappier title is necessary to grab readers’ attention.

Instead, I would title it ‘How to Use the Snowflake Method to Get Your Book Written.’ This title clearly communicates what the article is about and appeals to the target audience.

The introduction provided by chatGPT is accurate but wordy. To make it more engaging and digestible, I would rewrite it to focus on the reader and the benefits of the snowflake method. By doing so, it becomes clear who the target audience is.

When using chatGPT, it is important to remember that it is a tool, not a substitute for quality copywriting. While it can provide inspiration and help with research, it is essential to fact-check and personalize the content. Clients’ brand tone of voice should be considered to build trust with the audience.

Claims of earning large sums of money by using chatGPT should be taken with caution. While it can save time in the research and ideation stage, producing high-quality content still requires skill and expertise. Copywriters should focus on delivering value to clients and creating unique, personalized content.

In conclusion, chatGPT can be a useful research tool for copywriters, especially when working with new clients or industries. However, it should be used as a starting point and not relied upon entirely. Copywriters should strive to develop their craft and deliver exceptional content that aligns with clients’ brand tone of voice.

Next week, I will share my experience of using the snowflake method to write a book. If you’re interested in copywriting, I will also be sharing tips and tricks for setting up a copywriting business. Stay tuned!
