In a small village, there stood a magnificent tree named Willow. Unlike other trees, Willow could talk and had a kind heart. The children of the village loved spending time with her, telling her their joys and sorrows. One summer, a severe drought hit the village. The rivers dried up and the crops withered. The villagers were worried and prayed for rain.
Willow felt their pain and decided to help. She shared her water with the nearby plants and animals, but it wasn’t enough. One day, Willow heard about a magical spring hidden deep in the forest that could bring rain to the whole village. She embarked on a long journey, facing numerous challenges along the way. With courage and determination, she finally reached the spring.
The guardian of the spring, a wise old owl, was impressed by Willow’s selflessness. He granted her a silver leaf and said, ‘Plant this leaf in the heart of the village, and rain will come.’ Hurrying back, Willow planted the leaf, and suddenly the sky darkened with clouds.
