The long-awaited photo upload feature has finally arrived to Chat GBT after months and months of waiting. We now have the actual ability to upload a photo to Chat GBT and have a conversation about that photo. This is just the beginning and we are just tapping into the power of this new feature.
To activate this feature, you simply need to have GPT4. You can be on default mode of ChatGPT4. Now, there’s an attach image button on the left side of your input box. Chat GBT is going to work exactly the same, except now you can chat about images, which is amazing.
Let’s dive into some use cases. The first use case is one of the most basic use cases. You can upload a picture of something that isn’t working properly and ask Chat GBT how to fix it. For example, if you have a broken bike, you can upload a picture of it and ask Chat GBT what’s wrong with it and how to fix it. Chat GBT will try its best to give you a step-by-step guide on how to fix it.
Another use case is uploading a picture of a character, whether it’s from a book, a movie, or even yourself. You can ask Chat GBT to describe the character or give them a fake name and description. It’s pretty cool to see how Chat GBT can describe people or characters.
You can also use this feature for website design. If you want to improve your website or any design element, you can upload an image of it and ask Chat GBT for tips or improvements. Chat GBT can analyze the image and give you suggestions on how to make it better.
Lastly, you can use this feature to extract text from an image. If you have a screenshot of text and you want to copy it, you can upload the image to Chat GBT and ask it to write out the text for you. This can be useful when you can’t directly copy the text from the image.
Overall, the photo upload feature in Chat GBT opens up a world of possibilities. It allows us to have more interactive and engaging conversations about images. Whether it’s fixing something, describing characters, improving designs, or extracting text, Chat GBT can assist us in various ways. We are just scratching the surface of what this feature can do, and I’m excited to see how it evolves in the future.
