This is kind of embarrassing chatGPT. Can’t even tell if what it’s looking at was written by chatGPT or not. This is actually hilarious to me. OpenAI, the creator of chatGPT, has admitted it can’t even identify AI generated text. Oh, give me a break.
But if you’re just tuning in, my name is Christopher Fuel and I love talking about stocks and finding those outlier trades with outsized returns. ChatGPT, give me a break. Here, listen to me and my team. We use ChatGPT like nobody’s business. But I had heard that if you were submitting articles to places or if you were writing these and sending them to other people, there is a chance that people would very clearly say, ‘Oh, this is written by ChatGPT’ or they would run it through some sort of filter that said, ‘Oh yeah, this is definitely written by ChatGPT’. In fact, I saw a stat that said if you ran the Declaration of Independence through one of these AI detectors, it would say it was 70% written by ChatGPT or another AI platform. That was hilarious to me. They can’t even tell who is writing and who isn’t writing using ChatGPT. So all you college students out there, you’re good to go. Just put in your term papers in ChatGPT and they can’t even tell what ChatGPT writes anymore.
I mean, ChatGPT as much as I love that platform, it definitely has its faults. But I do think that this is an opportunity from an investor perspective to maybe look around. Maybe Microsoft, which I feel like they have a deal with ChatGPT, could be an interesting opportunity. Taking a look at Microsoft stock, just like everything, it’s been pretty beat up lately. But it does have a Buy Signal back on July 20th. So looking at the outlier data, this could be an opportunity to get in. I know a lot of people that were really upset because Microsoft was one of the stocks that fell the hardest during the bear market of 2022. But look at that, it actually hit new all-time highs not too long ago, and outlier data definitely shows a Buy Signal here. So maybe that’s something that ChatGPT and OpenAI could look at, using some Microsoft products to help figure out how to run their business just a little bit better. Because right now, ChatGPT doesn’t even know what ChatGPT is doing. It’s just off the rails.
Let’s see what the comments say on this. OpenAI just called out all the fad apps, and they can screen for AI gender. This is what I was talking about. They can screen for AI generated text, and clearly it cannot do that if the creator cannot. Yeah, exactly. Of course, they can’t. And now universities that kick students out for suspected use are about to get hit with some wildly successful lawsuits. Oh man, that sounds like an interesting thing that’s going to happen. Yeah, I mean, I had heard those stories where people were saying there was one professor that failed an entire class because he said everybody’s using ChatGPT, so I’m gonna fail the entire class. Are you kidding me? Do you know how pissed I would be if I gave the university my money and they took that class that I worked all semester on and said, ‘Nope, fail.’ No, that no sir. So yeah, if all these platforms can’t even detect that they are using ChatGPT, even the maker itself can’t even detect that it’s using ChatGPT. Yeah, it’s definitely come to a head here. But I do think that in the near future, they could be figuring something out. So don’t put all your eggs in one basket, but do put your eggs on the like button basket.
