The danger of AI is much greater than the danger of nuclear warheads. New AI tools have been unleashed into the public sphere, which may threaten the survival of human civilization. It can be very harmful if deployed wrongly, and we do not have all the answers yet. The technology is moving fast, and I expect there to be a significant impact on jobs. However, exactly what that impact looks like is very difficult to predict. The machine’s taking over is a threat for everybody, including the Chinese, Americans, and Europeans. It is like a global nuclear war, but with artificial intelligence.
