I hope you’re all doing wonderfully. My name is Arash and welcome to my very first podcast episode. I’ve been meaning to start this for a while now, but I guess the time just feels right now. I haven’t planned out a strict description, but I’m personally with fresh ideas to share with you. I plan to upgrade you regularly, maybe every two weeks or monthly, on a range of topics like technology, business, startups, AI, and what’s happening in the modern world. So let’s dive in.
In each episode, I’ll focus on different exciting topics that I’m eager to discuss, chatGPT, and its potential impacts over the next decade. I recently wrote about this on my media and its potential. AI is outstanding and enrollment based on current trends. We can expect a big shift toward incorporating AI, choosing various physics sectors, but over the next decade, potentially impacting around 80 to 90 percent of all businesses globally. It’s truly the start of a new era. These tools, like chatGPT, can be very useful in various aspects of businesses, from assisting in marketing strategies to being a handy tool in healthcare. These large language models and AI can act as experts in various fields, helping us to streamline many processes. Imagine in 10 years, interacting with chatGPT through a voice interface, almost like talking to another human. We’ve already seen deep fake videos that mimic famous people so well, it’s hard to tell real from fake. It’s an amazing and somewhat scary time, but many experts, including Andrew NG, the founder of Coursera and professor at Stanford, believe that we are advancing step by step with watchful oil safety and privacy. Though some pictures of a future with robots overtaking humans, a true Terminator scenario, seems unlikely. Innovation happens gradually, allowing us to adjust and set up rules and guidelines to ensure the technology remains secure and beneficial for all. While the future is unpredictable, it seems we are heading toward a time where tools like chatGPT will enhance our lives in ways we haven’t yet fully realized. So these AI models process an immense amount of data, gaining a broad understanding from countless text sources available online. It’s like having an incredibly well-read friend at your fingertips.
Now, while I enjoyed experimenting with these tools over the past couple of days, they aren’t perfect. I have to admit they aren’t perfect yet, especially with complex tasks or deep understanding, they can stumble. But even with these hiccups, they excel at story creation and combination of data in interesting ways. One limitation they currently have is understanding context in the way humans do. We can grasp the nonsense of a conversation in a split of a second, adjusting our approach accordingly and keeping the flow of the conversation going. This is something AI models that are still learning to do as they currently rely on text inputs. These models don’t possess the sensory inputs that humans have, like eyes, ears, or a mouth to talk. But imagine a future where AI can understand and respond to voice tones and other sensory inputs. This feature is truly exciting, potentially revolutionizing how we interact with technology. At the moment, again, they can’t convey emotions behind the text, but it’s worth to remember that a large part of human communication and cognition is non-verbal, conveyed through body language and tone of voice. These models, like chatGPT, don’t have eyes, ears, or a mouth right now, but once we embed these other inputs into these applications, that’s when the magic happens.
I hope this conversation sparks your interest and gives you something to ponder. I encourage you to play around with chatGPT yourself and see how it goes. You really need to spend time with it. Right now, I mean, I’m in tech. We are doing AI finals. Maybe it’s good to expand what we are doing in financial. So Athena is a financial expert that tries to give you personalized financial planning, analysis, and market predictions. One of the big issues that the financial industry is facing right now is the user experience. Finance is a complex topic for the majority, mainly because you’re dealing with numbers and calculations, which aren’t the easiest job involved. But technology like chatGPT can improve this user experience by translating complex data and knowledge into simple words that people understand. Now, imagine a future where AI can understand your financial circumstances. You tell it your salary, your investments, and it creates a portfolio for you with expected yield and drawdown. Athena can provide this plan without you needing to do complicated calculations or go to a financial expert and spend hundreds of dollars. This is how we try to democratize financial knowledge. Anyone across the planet can go talk to Athena, chatGPT, and learn more about finance, learn more about thought, learn more about nature, whatever. These technologies will have a significant impact on how humankind is evolving, how the pace of advancements ties to technology and the internet. We’ve seen a sharp growth compared to 100 years ago. Now we are living in modern houses, surrounded by smart tools and AI. The future is definitely safer and more convenient place to live in. But there are things that we really need to take care of, like nature, global warming, and more. I’ll probably talk about global warming in the next coming episodes. But yeah, I hope this is a good start for the very first episode. But first, I did get help from chatGPT, to be honest. I recorded the podcast once, extracted the text from an online tool, and then gave it to chatGPT to check for grammar and everything. Then I tuned it, and there was this tool called Adobe Podcast AI that tunes your recording voice and minimizes noises, making your podcast seem perfect. I’m probably going to try some other tools for putting voice over and music to make it more entertaining. I’m not afraid of using the tools that I’m using because a couple of years from now, you need to know how to use these tools. That’s the modern rule. Like with the time, people needed to shift from writing on paper to writing on board, like Microsoft Word or Excel. These are the things that I assure you that I will let you know. I will tell you about technology, how to make your life easier. These are the things that I will definitely talk about. Please let me know what you think. I hope that you enjoyed this very first episode. Tell me what you want me to talk about, and we will have a good conversation. Or probably, I’m going to tell you more about myself in the upcoming videos. But for now, peace and love. Take care out there.
