There’s even a report suggesting that ChatGPT might go out of business by 2024 due to a lack of funds and diminishing customer base.
To put ChatGPT to the test, I decided to explore the family history of the Chandaria family. I came across conflicting information about the family tree, especially regarding the relationship between Dashan Chandaria, Manu Chandaria, and Mahesh Chandaria. So, I turned to ChatGPT for answers.

To further investigate, I delved into the Chandaria family tree. I discovered that the family splits into two branches: the Dasan Chandaria branch and the Manu Chandaria branch. Dasan Chandaria, known for his entrepreneurial ventures, is the son of Mahesh Chandaria. On the other hand, Manu Chandaria, a prominent industrialist, has a separate lineage.
The Chandaria family’s industrial empire began with Magal Chandaria, who migrated from India to Kenya in the 1920s. He established Chandaria Industries, initially focused on producing tissue paper and hygiene products. Over the years, the business grew and diversified, leading to the creation of the DMC Group.
The DMC Group, led by Dases Chandaria, encompasses companies like Guardian Bank, Chandaria EA Properties, and East African Mills. On the other hand, Comcraft, led by Manu Chandaria, specializes in steel manufacturing and related industries.
It’s important to note that the Dasan Chandaria branch and the Manu Chandaria branch are separate entities with different family histories. While they share the Chandaria name and are both billionaire families, their lineages diverge after Magal Chandaria.
