For the center backs, they selected John Terry and Rio Ferdinand, both solid choices. Ashley Cole was their pick for left back.
Moving on to the midfield, they chose Paul Scholes, Steven Gerrard, and Patrick Vieira. Although they missed out on Frank Lampard, these three English midfielders are great options. Cristiano Ronaldo was their pick for right wing, while Ryan Giggs was chosen for left wing. And up front, they went with Thierry Henry, an amazing striker.
Now, let’s look at some alternative players that could have been chosen. For goalkeeper, Petr Cech could have been a great option. Kyle Walker could have challenged Gary Neville for the right back position. Vincent Kompany, Sol Campbell, and Tony Adams were other top-quality center back options. Patrice Evra could have rivalled Ashley Cole at left back.
