Instead of using Canva, which usually involves a free trial, we will use ChatGPT and Google Slides, making it 100% free. Our product will be sold digitally, meaning people will pay to download a PDF.
The product is a reading comprehension worksheet designed for young kids who are just starting to learn how to read. Each page of text only has four lines, with three questions that ask obvious questions about the text. There is also a word provided that can be traced and an open-ended discussion question.
Parents and teachers who have bought this worksheet for their kids are genuinely happy with the product and use it to help their children comprehend texts. This shows that people are willing to pay for this type of product.
To recreate these worksheets, we will use ChatGPT and Google Slides. ChatGPT will significantly speed up the process of coming up with reading passages. We will ask the AI to generate a prompt similar to the original one used on the website. We will also ask ChatGPT to add three comprehension questions alongside the paragraph.
Once we have the text and questions, we will use Google Slides to put it all together. Unlike Canva, Google Slides is completely free and has an interface that makes it easy to work with. We will copy and paste the responses from ChatGPT, adjust the size of the text, and rearrange them correctly. We will also choose a font for the word that needs to be traced.
To add illustrations, we can use the image search feature in Google Slides. We can search for a black and white cartoon image related to the subject of the worksheet. After resizing and placing the image, we can move on to the next worksheet.
