OpenAI's ChatGPT Enterprise: A Comparison with Microsoft 365 Co-Pilot and Google Duet AI

OpenAI has announced its new offering to meet the needs of business customers with the release of ChatGPT Enterprise. This comes at the same time as Google’s general release of Duet AI for Workspace for its enterprise customers and ahead of the anticipated release of Microsoft 365 Co-Pilot. In this video, we will explore what ChatGPT Enterprise is and how it compares to Microsoft 365 Co-Pilot and Google Duet AI.

The core difference between ChatGPT Plus and ChatGPT Enterprise is the level of data protection. ChatGPT Enterprise ensures that the data used to interact with the service is protected and not used for any other purpose. However, there is a concern about the lack of data protection for ChatGPT Plus subscribers who are paying for the service.

In terms of the context window, ChatGPT Enterprise offers an upgrade that allows for a larger amount of data to be tracked. With a 32,000 token context window, ChatGPT Enterprise can keep track of conversations that are equivalent to about a third of an average-length book. This is a significant improvement compared to ChatGPT Plus, which loses track after about 6,000 words.

ChatGPT Enterprise also provides unlimited access to Advanced Data Analysis, which allows for in-depth analysis of data. It offers features like a centralized admin console and single sign-on integration, making it suitable for business deployment.

However, the pricing for ChatGPT Enterprise is not publicly available. Interested customers need to contact OpenAI’s sales team to discuss a custom package. This suggests that OpenAI is targeting larger businesses and may not be interested in providing these upgrades and protections to smaller businesses.

While ChatGPT Enterprise may offer better AI capabilities than Microsoft or Google, it does not have direct access to all the data that Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace can provide. The power of these tools lies in their ability to layer AI capabilities on top of existing data indexes. OpenAI’s approach may require more human knowledge and training to provide the necessary context.

In conclusion, the decision to choose ChatGPT Enterprise depends on the leverage that Microsoft or Google has for your business through their productivity Cloud Suites. While OpenAI may deliver a better AI product, it cannot match the direct access to data that Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace can provide. Additionally, the pricing and availability of ChatGPT Enterprise may limit its adoption by smaller businesses.
