Hey friends, welcome to the channel and to this episode where we dive into the world of artificial intelligence and technology to help us use our time more productively. Chachi Petey has been around for a while now, and in that time, there have been a lot of updates to chat GPD. We’ve compiled 12 chat GPD tips you may have missed so you can get the most out of Chachi Petey. We’ve even added three bonus tips at the end of the video, so be sure to check them out. If you haven’t subscribed yet, please click the Subscribe button and let’s get to the first Chachi Petey tip.
Tip 1: Shared Links Shared links are a new feature that allows you to generate a unique URL for a chat GPD conversation, which can then be shared with your friends, colleagues, and any collaborators. To share a link, simply head over to your chat history and click on the share icon next to the conversation you want to share. You can then change the title and decide whether you want to share anonymously. You can then share your link anywhere you like, and anyone with a LinkedIn account can see the conversation history and even continue that conversation for themselves.
Tip 2: Managing Shared Links If you no longer want people to be able to access your shared links, you can manage and delete them. Just head over to the data control section of the settings menu. From there, you can see all of your shared links and delete them individually or choose to delete them all at once.
Tip 3: Customizing Chat GPD Did you know that you can customize how chat GPD looks? It’s easy to miss, but if you head over to the settings area, you can actually switch between light mode and dark mode or have chat GPD follow your system settings. Dark mode is recommended for easier reading in the code window and to reduce eye strain.
Tip 4: Organizing Conversation History The conversation history tab on the left of the screen is really useful for jumping back into your old prompts. By default, chat GPD assigns a basic title for the conversation history, but you can edit the name of the conversations you want to keep to make them easier to find. You can then use the trashcan icon to delete any conversations you don’t want, so you’re left with a core selection of the most useful items that you can refer back to.
Tip 5: Hiding Chat History If the chat history becomes distracting while you’re working in chat GPD, you can hide it by clicking on the hide button in the top left corner. This allows you to stay focused on what you’re doing in the main chat window.
Tip 6: Exporting Conversations You can export all of your previous conversations in HTML format by heading over to settings and clicking on export data. You’ll receive an email with a link to a zip file containing all of your previous prompts and chat GPD conversations. You can open the HTML file to view and store them as a backup or share them with others.
Tip 7: Upgrading to Chat GPD Plus Chat GPD is free and gives you access to GPT 3.5, which is wonderful. However, if you use Chat GPD a lot and have twenty dollars to spare, upgrading to Chat GPD Plus is well worth it. With Chat GPD Plus, you get access to new features before anyone else, such as web browsing and plugins. It’s a great investment if you want to maximize your experience with Chat GPD.
Tip 8: Beta Features With Chat GPD Plus, you can activate beta features like web browsing and plugins. Head over to settings and go to Beta features to toggle on and off any new features and play around with them.
Tip 9: Browse Plugin The browse plugin for Chat GPD uses Bing search to provide up-to-date references to Chat GPD’s training data. You can switch on the browse plugin in settings and enter a prompt to see the search results. You can even follow the web crawler in real-time and view the sources of the information.
Tip 10: Verified Plugins Some plugins in Chat GPD have a red shield icon, which means they are not verified. This icon appears when a plugin developer pushes an update to the plugin store and is waiting for verification. Don’t let the shield icon put you off trying out these plugins. They can be incredibly helpful, and the verification process will likely improve as the store matures.
Tip 11: Opinion Playground Before Chat GPD, there was the Opinion Playground. This hidden resource is a great place to try out different language models and customize features like response randomness. It’s a powerful tool for prompt engineering and optimizing your inputs.
Tip 12: Opinion Community and Help Desk The Opinion Community and Help Desk are valuable resources for Chat GPD users. In the Opinion Community, you can find knowledge from other users and optimize staff, while the Help Desk provides articles, release notes, and updates. Don’t overlook these resources as they can take your prompt engineering skills to the next level.
