In this video, I am going to introduce you to the world of ChatGPT, the AI marvel. If you are new to AI, it stands for artificial intelligence. And if you are new to ChatGPT, you are in for a real treat. It is revolutionizing the way we interact with technology.
Even if you are not particularly interested in technology, you will want to stick around for this video series. I will show you how to use ChatGPT to improve your comments at meetings, your letter writing, preparation for meetings, and enhance your personal study. It can also assist you in the development of parts and talks, and so much more.
ChatGPT is free and very easy to use. If you already understand what ChatGPT is and how to use it, you can skip this video. But don’t forget to subscribe to the channel so you don’t miss part two of the series, where we will discuss how to use ChatGPT to enhance our comments in various ways.
I became interested in ChatGPT because I love learning all about technology. In history, technology has always been one of my favorite subjects. Well, that was until I discovered ChatGPT. Now, I am interested in all sorts of things.
If you do a quick Google search, you will see that I am far from alone in my enthusiasm for ChatGPT. The things that it can handle are virtually endless. It is so intelligent that it can handle advanced trigonometry in seconds.
For example, if you have a 60-page contract that you don’t feel like reading, ChatGPT can analyze it in seconds and tell you which parts of the contract are not in your best interests.
Once I realized just how capable it is, I immediately thought about how this tool can help me with my spiritual endeavors. Although I still have a lot to learn, I can tell you that what I’ve learned so far has me so excited that I have no words to describe just how awesome I think ChatGPT is.
Since the purpose of this YouTube channel is to help friends get the most out of their technology, I thought a new ChatGPT series was in order.
The first thing you’ll need is to sign up for a free ChatGPT account. You can do this using an email address, your Google account, Microsoft account, or Apple account. Personally, I use a Google account as it allows me to quickly sign up for all sorts of things, including many things I’ve already talked about on this channel and will talk about in the future.
If you need help signing up for a Google account, I’ll link to an excellent video by another creator that will take you through the process step by step.
Once you have your Google account, go to openai.com and click on ‘Get Started’ in the upper right corner. You can sign up using your email address or the other accounts mentioned earlier. I’m going to use Google, so I’ll click on ‘Continue with Google’. If you have multiple Google accounts, select the one you’d like to use, enter your password, and click ‘Next’. If you have two-step verification enabled, follow the prompts to enter the code sent to your phone.
Choose ChatGPT and click on it. Now, you’ve entered the main page of ChatGPT. The use of ChatGPT is completely free, but there is a paid version available for $20 a month. The free version is more than adequate for what we’ll be doing in this video series.
Using ChatGPT works a lot like using text messages. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see a box that says ‘Send a message’. This is where you will speak to ChatGPT. Just like when you’re texting a friend, you can talk to ChatGPT in natural human language, and you are not limited to just English.
Messages that are sent to ChatGPT are called prompts. For example, if you want to know the definition of a word, you can send a prompt like ‘Give me the definition of plethora’. ChatGPT will respond with the definition.
If you want more information about your original prompt, you can simply keep chatting. For example, you can ask ChatGPT to use the word in a sentence. You can also regenerate the response if you are not satisfied with the first answer.
It’s important to note that you should never give ChatGPT any sensitive information about yourself or others. ChatGPT uses the information you provide to train itself, so be cautious about what you share.
In the left pane, you can see a list of the prompts you’ve sent to ChatGPT. You can rename prompts, delete them, or regenerate responses. If you want to start a new chat, simply click on ‘New Chat’ in the upper left corner.
To delete all your prompts and start fresh, click on the three dots next to your username at the bottom left, then click on ‘Settings’. In the ‘General’ section, click on ‘Clear’ next to ‘Clear All Chats’. Confirm the deletion, and all your chats will be deleted.
Remember to be mindful of the information you share with ChatGPT and enjoy exploring its capabilities. Don’t forget to like this video and stay tuned for part two, where we’ll discuss how to enhance your comments at meetings using ChatGPT.
