Hey guys, welcome back to another video. In this video, we will be discussing the new update to ChatGPT, which introduces code interpreter. We will talk about what code interpreter is, how to activate it, and how to use it.
Before we dive into that, I want to mention that if you’re interested in genuine Microsoft software at a great price, you can check out Indigo Software. We will provide links in the description box below.
Now let’s get started. Code interpreter is a feature of ChatGPT Plus on GPT4. This means that you need to be a GPT Plus member to access it. Once you are a member, you can go to your profile settings and enable code interpreter.
Code interpreter allows us to overcome some of the limitations of GPT. For example, GPT is not good at math, cannot upload or download files, cannot create charts, and cannot run code directly in the interface. With code interpreter, we can do all of these things.
One of the benefits of code interpreter is the ability to perform data analysis and visualization. We can upload files containing raw business data, such as CSV, Excel, or SQL databases, and use the AI to gain insights from the data. For example, we can analyze world heritage locations using publicly available data and create interactive maps and charts.
Another use case for code interpreter is testing Python code. We can write code and test it directly within the GPT interface. It’s like having an entry-level analyst that can perform tasks for you. We can also ask GPT to solve simple math problems using text-based input.
To use code interpreter, you can upload files by clicking the plus button in the text box. You can also download files by requesting them in the prompt.
