Installing ChatGPT on Raspberry Pi

Installing ChatGPT on Raspberry Pi

Hello friends and welcome to the YouTube channel Freedom Tech. In this session, we will learn how to install ChatGPT on Raspberry Pi OS Bull as a 64-bit version. We will also add speech recognition and text-to-speech capabilities to our ChatGPT.

Before we begin, if you find our videos helpful, please consider subscribing to our channel. Thank you!

To install ChatGPT, we first need to clone the repository. You can find the repository link in the description box. Simply copy and paste the link into your browser and go to the code.

Next, open the terminal and navigate to the cloned repository. Run the command ‘git clone’ followed by the repository link to clone the repository.

Once the repository is cloned, we need to install the required packages for our project. I have created a bash script that will install all the necessary packages. Simply run the script by giving it the necessary permissions.

After the packages are installed, we need to set up the hardware for our project. For the microphone, I am using the Red Gear Comet 7.1 wired headphone with a microphone. For the speaker, I am using the Eyeball Bluetooth speaker.

Now, let’s move on to the software setup. We are going to use Python for our project. Open your Python IDE and open the script ‘ai.py’. This script contains the code for the ChatGPT, speech recognition, and text-to-speech functions.

Next, open the script ’tk.py’. This script creates a small window with a button. When the button is clicked, we can ask questions to our ChatGPT. The ChatGPT will answer the questions and convert the text into speech.

Before running the code, make sure to connect your microphone and Bluetooth speaker to the Raspberry Pi. Once everything is set up, run the ’tk.py’ script.

A window will open with a button. Click the button and ask your question to the ChatGPT. It will answer your question and convert the text into speech.

That’s it! You have successfully installed ChatGPT on Raspberry Pi and added speech recognition and text-to-speech capabilities. I hope you find this tutorial helpful. Thank you for watching, take care, and bye!
