Ghostwriter is an office add-in that allows you to use chart GPT in Microsoft Word directly. It is an AI-powered writing assistant designed to help users write faster and smarter. The add-in is equipped with advanced natural language processing and machine learning technology, which enables the user to brainstorm, plan, and create content.
To install Ghostwriter in Microsoft Word desktop, open the desktop version of Microsoft Word and click on ‘Blank Document’ to open a new document. Then, click on ‘Insert’ and select ‘Get Add-ins’. In the search box, enter ‘Ghostwriter’ and click on the search icon. In the search results, click on the ‘Add’ button beside Ghostwriter. Click on ‘Continue’ to install the add-in.
Once installed, Ghostwriter will appear in a panel on the right side. The add-in offers a free trial with a limited number of tries. Users can purchase a product key to unlock the add-in and use it with the open AI GPT models.
To use Ghostwriter, select a writing style and tone, and specify the length of the response. Then, click on ‘Send Request’ to the AI. The generated content will be inserted in the document.
Ghostwriter can also correct grammar and spellings. Select the text, click on ‘Review’, and select ‘Spelling & Grammar’. Click on ‘Send Request’ to correct the grammar and spellings in the selected text.
Additionally, Ghostwriter can summarize a URL. Select ‘Use URL’, enter the URL in the text box, and click on ‘Send Request’. The summary will be generated and inserted in the document.
To change the settings of Ghostwriter, click on ‘Settings’. You can select the active model, enter your own open AI API key, or enter Azure cognitive services if you are using them.
To install Ghostwriter in Microsoft Word online, go to Microsoft Office’s online apps, sign into your Microsoft account, or create a new one. Look for Microsoft Word and click on it to open a new Word document. Click on the ‘Add-ins’ icon on the top right and select ‘More Add-ins’. In the store tab, search for ‘Ghostwriter’ and click on ‘Add’ to install the app to your account. Once installed, Ghostwriter will appear in a panel on the right side of the screen.
