So if you’re not using chatGPT in your business, you’re probably missing out. I’ve been using chatGPT now for months. I actually pay for chatGPT 4, which is like $20 per month, and honestly, it has saved me so much time and money. I use it pretty much daily for different tasks and things that I want to do for my business, and I highly recommend you start using it as well. You don’t necessarily need to pay for the plus version; you can just use the free version. But I’ve been using the plus version because I believe I get better results. This prompt can be useful if you’re trying to grow on any social media platform, not just Facebook. But you can utilize this prompt with ChatGPT to help you identify exactly the type of follower, the most targeted follower that you want for your brand, whether you’re trying to grow on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, whichever platform you’re trying to grow. I promise you, if you use this prompt, it will help you identify exactly the type of follower that you want for your business. Now, in my case, because I mainly build Facebook pages and I help my clients build and grow Facebook pages, I’m using this prompt with Facebook ads to essentially just grow these pages and identify exactly the type of follower that I want based on the niche. So let me show you this chatGPT prompt, and then I’m going to show you a real example of how to use it with ChatGPT.
You are now a market research expert. Your task is to create a comprehensive follower avatar for a new Facebook page. Of course, in this case, you can replace it with an Instagram page, YouTube channel, or pretty much anything you want to grow within the blank Niche or category. You will provide an ideal follower avatar for this page based on the exact demographics primarily interested in consuming content about blank and blank. The goal is to acquire highly targeted and engaged followers through Facebook ads. And again, this applies mainly to Facebook ads because I’ve been using this prompt to not only grow my own Facebook pages but also my client pages. Additionally, provide an estimation of the potential audience size and average RPM for this niche. Create a follower avatar that is well-suited for targeting within the Facebook advertising ecosystem, listing potential targeting options and alternative audience segments to explore if necessary. You’ll ask me additional questions to further define my follower avatar.
Okay, so I took this prompt and I entered this prompt into ChatGPT with the goal of growing a basketball page. Here’s the information that ChatGPT provided: It gave me the demographics 18 to 34, and it’s telling me that the gender mostly I should be targeting men. The locations are the United States, especially in regions of strong basketball followings like California, New York, and Indiana, as well as other countries. It’s telling me the income level, the education level, as well as some of the interests like basketball, NBA, college basketball, and all related sports like football and baseball, and also video games. It gave me some ideas of video games that I should be looking into. And also, what is the typical RPM or revenue per 1,000 views for this niche? It doesn’t really tell me that exactly because this can vary by niche and other factors, but $0.50 to $2.50 for every 1,000 views is something that I would consider to be average. And also, the Facebook advertising targeting options, it gave me exactly who I should be targeting: basketball players, NBA, college basketball, sport video games, people who are into basketball-related pages. Location targeting is basically anywhere for the US mainly. Now, from this, you can now expand, and now you have a good foundation to find that real targeted follower for your page. But you can most definitely expand on this and ask additional questions. So, for example, let’s say that I’m building my basketball page about one specific player. Now I can ask additional questions and say, ‘Okay, my Facebook page or Instagram page is going to be about this player. I want you to narrow down even more and tell me exactly who my follower is and what they do, what they like, what they don’t like.’ And you can narrow that even more. As you can see, this is a very powerful prompt. It provided me with a long list of information that I can now take to Facebook ads, and I can filter out and find exactly the type of follower avatar that I’m trying to target. Of course, it has a lot to do with the type of ads you’re running on Facebook as well. Your ad needs to be good, but by just making sure your targeting is on point, now you have more chances of finding those real targeted followers for your page. And so, you grow your page initially, the first couple of thousands of followers, making sure that these are highly targeted, engaged followers because now you know exactly your follower avatar, and you’re using ChatGPT to help you identify these people.
