Hi there, it’s Garrett with Garrett Digital. A lot of times, clients ask me how to use ChatGPT for their business. In this case, I work with therapists and therapy offices, and I’m going to cover how to use your therapist bio to write content for the home page on your site.
I came across David Hannah counseling and noticed that his home page doesn’t have a lot of information, but his bio page is really solid. So, what I’m going to do is take the bio content and have ChatGPT write home page content.
The prompt I’m going to use is: ‘My name is David Hanna. I’m a therapist in Portland, Oregon. Here’s info from my bio page. Help me come up with a unique selling proposition and a list of bullets for the home page of my site.’
ChatGPT is all about giving as much context and information as you can about what you want and need, and who you are. So, I’m going to provide the prompt and the bio content to ChatGPT.
The unique selling proposition is why someone would choose David Hanna over any other therapist in Portland, Oregon. It’s important to come up with a unique selling proposition because you can use it on every page of your website. It should be a quick bulleted list of reasons why someone would choose you over the competition.
In this case, ChatGPT breaks up the unique selling proposition into bulleted items. However, it’s a bit long, so I might shorten it to include only three or four key points.
Once you have the unique selling proposition, you can incorporate it into the home page content. Copy the content from ChatGPT and edit it in a grammarly or a Google doc to customize it to your own words. Make sure to remove any chatGPT instructions.
After customizing the content, you can copy and paste it onto your site’s home page. This will improve your website’s visibility on Google search engines and provide a better experience for users.
If you’re not satisfied with the initial output from ChatGPT, you can request another version by saying ‘another’. This will give you a different version of the home page copy for you to review and edit.
