Now, let me show you how to set it up step by step. And you could do this with the free ChatGPT account as well. The very first step is to use Google Chrome because you need the Talk to ChatGPT extension. This is a free extension that you can install to your Chrome. Now, open a new window with ChatGPT and you’ll see the Talk to ChatGPT option. Just press start. I’m going to put mine on mute, but you have to give it access to your microphone if you want to speak to it. So, you could basically talk to it right over here.
Before I show you how to set it up, let me show you some of the settings options you have available. In the settings menu, you can choose AI voices and language. There are lots of different options, including different languages. You can also choose AI voices from 11 Labs, which sounds more realistic than the options available with the Chrome extension. To use 11 Labs voices, you need to have an API key from 11 Labs. You can get the API key by creating an account on 11labs.io. Once you have the API key, you can enter it in the settings menu of ChatGPT.
Now, let’s go ahead and start a new chat. You can ask questions or give prompts to ChatGPT, and it will generate responses based on the AI voice you have chosen. For example, you can ask it to recommend a dish to impress a picky eater, and it will provide suggestions. Another example is asking about the difference between Mac and PC, and it will explain the key differences.
