OpenAI has a feature called Charge GPT that allows users to easily share their chart conversations via social media, email, and other mediums. This feature is available to all users on the free and paid versions of Charge GPT.
When a chart is initiated in Charge GPT’s online version, users have the option to generate a unique link that captures the entire chart. Creating and sharing Charge GPT links is a straightforward process.
To share a current or previous chart, users can click on its entry in the sidebar and then click on the share icon. The share link to chart window displays the name and contents of the chart, allowing users to preview it before sharing. The title of the chart is generated using the name of the chart, but users can edit it by clicking on the pencil icon. Users can choose to share the chart with their name or anonymously by clicking on the three dots and selecting the desired option.
Once the necessary changes are made, users can click on the ‘Copy Link’ button to generate a unique link. This link can be shared via email, messaging apps, or social media platforms. The URL for shared links usually looks like this: ‘conversation ID’, which is a unique ID generated for the shared link.
Recipients of the shared link can follow it to access and interact with the Charge GPT conversation. They can view and continue the linked conversation, even without logging into their Charge GPT account. If they are already logged in, they will be redirected to the Chart screen with the conversation.
It’s important to note that any new messages in the conversation will not be visible through the shared link. To update a shared link, users can select the conversation with the shared link they want to update. They can change the title, edit the prompt, or update the name. However, changes made to the shared link will only be visible to users who access the updated link.
To manage shared links, users can click on their profile name at the bottom of the left sidebar, select ‘Settings’, then ‘Data Controls’, and finally click on the ‘Manage’ button for shared links. From there, users can view the source for each chart or delete the shared link.
If users come across harmful or illegal content in a shared link, they can report it by clicking on ‘Report Content’ below the ‘Continue this Conversation’ button. They will be asked to describe the issue and identify the nature of their report.
In conclusion, Charge GPT’s shared links feature allows users to easily share their chart conversations with others. Users can generate unique links, customize the title and sharing options, and manage their shared links from one place. It’s important to be cautious when sharing sensitive content and to report any harmful or illegal content encountered in shared links.
