So, I stumbled upon a bunch of videos on how to make money online with Etsy. But most of them only focused on the design process and didn’t give a complete step-by-step guide from generating ideas to posting on your store. However, I know a channel that can help you out. It is called Wean Boy, and in this video, I’m going to show you how to create stickers with just one click using a tool that’s even better than mid-journey for free. Plus, I’ll show you how to set up a shop that’s easier to use than Etsy and give you some tips on how to drive traffic and make sales in four simple steps. But that’s not all, I have a huge announcement about leveling up and learning the right skills to make it really work. So, let’s dive into the world of making money online.
Step One: Coming up with sticker ideas using ChatGPT
First of all, if you’re not familiar with stickers, they are like cute pictures that you can stick on your notebooks or even on your phone. They make things look pretty and can help you show how you feel or what you like. So, let’s have some fun and create some awesome stickers that you can sell. We’re going to ask GPT to give us some amazing sticker ideas. All you have to do is type ‘Give me a list of five ideas for cute image-only stickers that I could sell,’ and voila, you’ll have some fantastic ideas to work with. Now that we have some great ideas, let’s make each one more detailed. Just ask ChatGPT to give you more information about each idea by saying ‘Make each idea more detailed.’ Awesome! Now that we have more details about each idea, we can pick one that we like the most. For example, I really love the ‘Animal Friends’ idea because it’s perfect for pet lovers. And if you’re a foodie, you could go with the ‘Foodie Fun’ idea. Next up, we’ll ask GPT to give us some design ideas. Since I’m a big animal lover, I’ll ask GPT to give me five sticker design ideas for ‘Animal Friends.’ Just type ‘Give me five sticker design ideas about this idea.’ And as usual, in the video description, you’ll find all the templates.
Step Two: Creating the stickers
In this step, we will create the stickers, remove the background, and upscale the images in an efficient and easy way. The tool that we’re going to use to generate ideas is Leonardo AI. Leonardo AI is a better option than mid-journey because it offers a free plan, while mid-journey is no longer free. Plus, you won’t need to use additional software like Photoshop to remove backgrounds, as Leonardo AI has this feature built-in. However, many of the ‘how to sign up’ videos on YouTube require you to have Discord and an invitation. But don’t worry, you’re in luck because you’re watching our channel, and I figured out the easiest way to sign up without needing Discord or an invitation. Just follow the link in the description. So, after all that testimony, I think you’re excited to start using this awesome tool, and I’m here to guide you through the simple steps. First, just click the link in the video description, and it’ll take you to the Leonardo AI website. Next, click on ‘Login’ to get started. Now, just click on ‘Sign up’ and enter your email address and choose a password. Once you’ve signed up, check your email inbox for a verification code. Click on the email with the code and copy it. Now, head back to Leonardo AI, paste the verification code into the designated box, and click on ‘Confirm Account.’ Then, choose a cool username that you like and choose at least one interest. If you’re over 18 years old, click on the checkbox indicating so. Finally, click on ‘Start using Leonardo,’ and that’s it! You’re all set to start unleashing your creativity with Leonardo AI. No invitation, no Discord account. The only important step left now is to click the like button.
Step Three: Uploading the stickers to Redbubble
When it comes to setting up an online shop to sell your stickers, Redbubble is a better choice for beginners than Etsy. Signing up for Etsy can be a bit challenging, and if you want to print and fulfill your orders, you have to use additional third-party services like Printify or Printful. On the other hand, Redbubble provides a more simplified process that covers everything you need to sell your stickers, including printing and shipping, all within their platform. Now, head over to redbubble.com and click the ‘Sign up’ button. Choose the artist sign up option, type in your email address, and choose a shop name that’s suitable for what you’re selling. Click ‘Sign up,’ and you now have a shop to use. But to be clear, you have to complete the other steps for your shop to go live. The first step is to upload your work. So, let’s focus on that. Click the ‘Add new work’ button, and you’ll see that Redbubble recommends high-resolution files with a minimum of 1000 pixels resolution. That’s why we upscaled the pictures earlier. But on Leonardo AI, we already have the default setting of Leonardo diffusion as 1024 pixels. However, the bigger, the better. Then, click ‘Upload new work,’ choose the design you want from your device, and click ‘OK.’ You’ll need to upload at least five designs to complete the first step, but the other steps are straightforward. Just provide your personal information and use PayPal to get paid.
Step Four: Driving traffic to your shop
I’ll give you some ideas on how to use social media to drive traffic to your shop. By the way, the stickers’ price ranges from two to six dollars each, and they can be sold multiple times. One way to drive traffic to your shop is by creating an Instagram page and posting your designs there. Go to Canva and search for sticker templates. Choose one that you like, click ‘Customize this template,’ and upload your sticker to customize it as you like. But if you want to learn how to do this and get faster results, you need to learn affiliate marketing the right way. To do just that, I encourage you to subscribe now. In the upcoming videos on my channel, I’ll be delivering comprehensive step-by-step affiliate marketing tutorials. So, stay tuned for those insightful updates.
And that is it! I hope you learned something and got value from this video. Thanks for tuning in, and I will see you in the next one. And I think that you will also like these videos. Check them out here.
