ChatGPT is a powerful tool for generating prompts, but it’s important to structure them effectively. We have been using ChatGPT for prompt engineering on the Marketplace, and we are ranked number 47, showcasing our expertise in this area.
To structure prompts, you need to understand that each new chat is a clean slate unless you leverage custom instructions within the settings. We will focus on clean slate prompts for monetization purposes.
To generate monetization prompts, you can follow these steps:
- Start a new chat and enter the context of your prompt, such as ‘I am a social media manager for a company in the pet industry, specifically dog treats.’
- Fine-tune the prompt by adding specific variables in square brackets, such as ‘[age]’, ‘[skill]’, and ‘[hours per week]’.
- Keep fine-tuning the prompt until you get the desired output. You can add instructions to structure the prompts the way you want.
- Once you have a structured prompt, you can list it on prompt marketplaces like PromptBase for monetization.
For productivity prompts, you can follow these steps:
- Start a new chat and enter the context of your prompt, such as ‘I am a social media manager for a company in the pet industry, specifically dog treats.’
- Add more context about your day-to-day tasks and labor-intensive activities.
- Fine-tune the prompt by adding specific variables in square brackets, such as ‘[task]’, ‘[time]’, and ‘[goal]’.
- Keep fine-tuning the prompt until you get the desired output. You can ask for prompts tailored to your specific business context.
