How to Generate Short Videos Using ChatGPT and Canva

How to Generate Short Videos Using ChatGPT and Canva

Do you know how much this channel makes a month with simple short videos? These shorts are related to very simple nature and creepy facts. According to SocialBlade, this channel makes around $8,000 to $120,000 a month. Now, I am going to show you how to generate 10 short videos like this in under five minutes. We are going to use ChatGPT and Canva to generate these videos.

Without talking more nonsense, let’s get into work. Let’s go to ChatGPT. I have created a prompt to get information on our videos. You can change this font according to your niche. If you want to generate love and relationship facts, replace the word ‘scary facts’ with ’love facts’ or ‘relationship facts’ and add new examples to this prompt. I have also asked ChatGPT to give the information as a table so that we can directly use this information on Canva. We are generating 10 facts at a time.

Now, copy these facts and let’s head over to Canva. If you don’t have a Canva account, you can sign up for free. Make sure to select the free plan. We’re going to make a template for our videos. In the search bar, type ‘YouTube shorts’ and select the blank template.

Now, we need to find a suitable video for the background. In this case, we need something dark or creepy. Canva has free videos, but in this case, I’m going to use a website called Pexels. It has royalty-free images and videos. Head over to Pexels and search ‘Dark Forest’. Select a suitable video and download it.

Next, upload this video to Canva. Go to ‘Upload’ in Canva and choose the location of your video. Upload it and adjust its size. Now, we should add three text layers. Go to ‘Text’ and add a new layer. This layer is going to be our topic, whether it’s creepy facts or nature facts. The text layer should be on top of the video. You can add effects to your text layer. I will use the background box effect and select a red color background for the creepy facts videos.

Now, let’s add the other two text layers and edit them. Select a suitable font and text effect. Remember to use suitable colors so that the text is clearly visible. You can duplicate the text layer and change its name to save time. Adjust the duration of the video. I will select 9 seconds.

Now, we must edit the timing of the text layers. Right-click on the part 1 text layer and select ‘Show Timing’. Edit the duration of the part 1 text layer for the first four seconds. Do the same for the part 2 text layer, adjusting it for the last five seconds.

Next, add your channel’s name and logo below. You can also add some creepy background music. For that, use the Pixabay website to find royalty-free music. Type ‘creepy music’ and select a suitable one. Download it and upload it to Canva. Edit its duration to match the length of our video.

Now, our template is ready. Let’s generate the videos. Go to ‘Apps’ and select ‘Bulk Editing’. Enter the data manually and you will get a table. Copy and paste the facts and ideas generated from ChatGPT. Connect this data to each text layer by right-clicking on the topic text layer and selecting a topic. Do this for all three text layers.

Drag the part 2 text layer on top of the part 1 text layer. Now, press the ‘Generate’ button. Canva will automatically generate your videos. You can generate 100 to 1000 videos in a few minutes. To download these videos, click the ‘Share’ button and select ‘Download’. Make sure to select the option to download each video separately.

I hope you enjoy the video. Make sure to subscribe to my channel. I will see you in the next video.
