This children’s storybook has earned more than 389,198 dollars in passive income. In this video, I will demonstrate the process of starting a similar business, beginning with generating the book idea and creating engaging content. I will also explain how AI can be used to produce high-quality illustrations for your new book.
If you’re interested in earning passive income, watch the entire video. I assure you that it will provide valuable information to help you start your children’s book business fast.
While browsing through Amazon, I stumbled upon an intriguing concept. As I was searching for potential ways to generate passive income for my business, I came across a children’s storybook that caught my attention.
What makes it so interesting? After conducting some research, I was shocked by the impressive profits these sellers are making by selling these seemingly simple storybooks. Take a look at this particular book, for instance. It has received a whopping 52,084 ratings. If we multiply that by the price of the book, which is 4.94, you’ll be surprised to learn that the seller has earned over two hundred thousand dollars from this single book alone.
Now let’s consider another example. This book has 27,458 ratings, and when multiplied by its price of 5.36, it amounts to over 147,000 in earnings. And here’s the most astonishing part: one book has generated over a hundred thousand dollars in profits.
The mind-boggling aspect is that you can publish these books completely free of charge using Amazon KDP. Then I thought, why not use chatGPT to create a similar book and self-publish it on Amazon? It could generate passive income even while I sleep. Motivated by this idea, I decided to make this video to help as many people as possible.
As you may know, a good storybook begins with a great story concept. To initiate this process, I engaged the chatbot chatGPT and requested a title for a children’s storybook. Initially, it proposed ‘The Enchanted Adventures of Sparkle and Friends,’ but I desired something more thrilling. So I decided to give it another shot. ‘The Little Star Who Wanted to Shine’ had a nice ring to it, yet I felt we could do better. Eventually, I settled on ‘The Mischievous Monkey and the Great Banana Quest.’ This title resonated with excitement and promised a thrilling story to kickstart our book.
Then I asked the chatbot for additional information about the story. It explained that the book is targeted towards children aged five to eight years old. The plot revolves around a playful monkey named Milo who embarks on an exciting adventure to find a legendary banana tree deep in the jungle.
We’ve finished outlining the story, and now we can begin writing the actual content based on the chapters. To get started, paste the first chapter titled ‘The Jungle’s Mischief’ into the chat and set the prompt as ‘Write a rhythmic story.’ Once it’s done, feel free to read it, and if you’re not satisfied, you can regenerate the answer until you’re happy with it. Follow the same process for all the chapters, and it’s remarkable how quickly we generated a complete story ready to be transformed into a book.
It’s quite amazing to think about the speed at which we developed the story idea, crafted the chapters, and generated the story content. However, I must emphasize that our journey has just begun because what comes next is mind-blowing.
If you’ve enjoyed the video so far, please take a moment to click on the like button. We’re all aware that a great story idea alone is not enough without accompanying illustrations. Typically, hiring artists to create these illustrations can be quite expensive, often costing thousands of dollars. However, what if I were to inform you that every image you see on the screen was actually generated using an AI art generator, completely free of charge? Would anyone find that believable?
I’m sure you’ve heard about AI art, where you can create original images by simply typing in some words. I use this technique to complete the first chapter of my story. Let me show you how it works. Go to Dolly 2’s web app and sign up to generate your own image. You’ll need to start with a prompt, just type ‘Illustration’ followed by describing the image you’d like to generate.
Now that we have a clear idea of the image we want to create, we can proceed by typing ‘Illustration’ followed by the chapter topic, then add ‘Drawn by a child.’ The illustrations are cute and heartwarming. Wait a few seconds, and you’ll have four AI-generated images to choose from. Click into any of them and then either download or save or even create more variations. Do so for all images you want to generate.
Thank you for watching this video. Before we continue, like and subscribe if you haven’t done so yet. Now that we have successfully generated the images, allow me to demonstrate the process of merging the text generated by chatGPT with the images created using Dolly 2. This combination will enable you to produce a visually appealing storybook with a polished and professional appearance.
To begin, visit the website canva.com and search for ‘storybook’ and click on the option that says ‘Create a blank storybook.’ Next, proceed to upload the AI-generated images to Canva. To add the first image to your story, you can easily drag and drop it into the template you’ve selected. Now, open chatGPT and copy the first part of the story. Finally, paste the text on top of the image you’ve inserted in Canva. Feel free to modify the text to your preference. You have the flexibility to adjust the color and font style and even add shadows or other effects.
Canva is an excellent tool that I highly recommend, especially for beginners, as it doesn’t require any design skills. The best part is that it’s completely free to use. Once you’re finished with the modifications, simply click here to make a duplicate of the template. Doing that will save you valuable time since you can now add the new image and text while maintaining the original style.
Once you’ve completed that, simply repeat the same process for each chapter of your book. When you finish, save the book as a PDF and proceed to print it. Congratulations, you have successfully created your very first storybook!
Now, there’s just one final step remaining: to begin generating passive income, publish your book on Amazon. Unfortunately, I’m unable to provide a detailed explanation of the entire process as it would require considerable time. Instead, I’ve included a step-by-step guide in the video’s description below.
Here’s a summary of all you need to do:
Step 1: Use chatGPT to come up with a story idea. Step 2: Create an outline for the story and divide it into chapters. Step 3: Generate illustrations using Dolly 2. Step 4: Combine the story text with the illustrations using Canva and save the final version as a PDF. Step 5: Follow the instructions provided in the description box to publish your book on Amazon. Step 6: If you enjoyed this video, please show your support by liking it and subscribing to my channel for future updates.
