In today’s video, I’ll be giving you a complete guide on how to generate passive income like this using some AI technology. I’m a fan of audiobooks, and I was using Audible, scrolling through it to find some of the best books. Another thing going around in my mind was how can I generate passive income without investing my money. And just in this simultaneous thinking, I noticed something. Audiobooks on Audible are not that expensive, right? But when I did some calculations, I discovered that the owners of these low-costing audiobooks are making thousands of dollars with just one book. Like this book, which costs only 16.72 cents, but if you multiply it by the number of ratings, the seller has made a staggering two million dollars.
So, I thought about using AI to do all the work and earn money without spending a single penny. Let’s walk through every single step in this journey. To start off, we need to write a book, and for that, we need to find a very interesting topic. For this, I headed over to ChatGPT. First, I told it to create a title for an audiobook. It gave me ‘Whispers of Destiny: Tales Unveiled in the Shadows’. It was good, but I didn’t quite like it, so I asked it to create a better one, and it created ‘Echoes of Imagination: Journey Through the Symphony of Words’. Now, this title was good, but it’s a bit long and difficult to understand from some audience. So, I asked it to create something easily understandable and attractive, and it gave me ‘The Enchanted Pages: A Spellbinding Voyage for Curious Souls’. Now, that’s what I call an audiobook title.
Now that we have the title, the next phase is to make a complete audiobook. I asked the AI to tell me something about the story in the audiobook, and it told me that it is a tale that follows the extraordinary adventures of Emma, a young bookworm who one day while exploring her favorite library stumbled upon a magical book that transports her into a world where stories come alive. I quite like the story, so I decided to move on with this.
I asked the AI to create chapter outlines, and since it is an audiobook, it is supposed to be long. So, the AI generated the chapters and the key points discussed in each of them. Chapter 1: The Curious Librarian, Chapter 2: Into the Pages, Chapter 3: Quest for the Lost Scroll, Chapter 4: Meeting the Creatures, Chapter 5: Unraveling the Enigma, Chapter 6: The Power of Imagination, Chapter 7: Battle of Shadows, Chapter 8: Return to Reality, and finally, Epilogue: Forever in the Pages.
Now that we have the complete story outline in the chapters, we can start with the actual content of the audiobook. And it is as simple as pie. Just type in the first chapter and write the tone and style of your story. I want it to be a thriller and suspense, so I asked AI to do it, and it gave me a thrilling and suspenseful chapter. I didn’t expect it to be that good, but it really was hooking me, and I wanted to find more about this story. I asked the AI to write about the next chapters in the same way, and it did. And just in a few minutes, the whole content was created, and the best part is, I didn’t even have to write anything. I mean, think about it, how crazy it is. Within a few minutes, I created a complete audiobook in just the style I wanted it to be.
But that’s not all. The next phase is really mind-blowing. Let’s move to the next phase, which is the audio for the audiobook. Now, you can pay thousands of dollars to great artists available for audiobooks on certain platforms. But because we are doing it without any investment, there’s a great solution to this. You can use Avatar voices to generate the audio for your audiobooks. The best part is, it will not be a monotone and boring voice. Instead, it is going to sound exactly like a human and will be interactive. 11 Labs can do the job for us.
First, go to their website and create an account. However, you have to use a temporary email address. I’ll tell you the reason in a bit. You can find temporary emails on temp mail links in the description. Copy the email address and paste it in 11 Labs’ sign-up page. It will send a verification code on that temporary mail. Complete the verification and you’re done. Now comes the real deal, making the voice. First, click on Voice Lab and then click on ‘Add Generative or Clone Voice’. Now, the first option is not very useful and sounds similar to AI voices. Since the second and fourth options require some money, we’ll skip those and move to the third one, Voice Library. Now, here we have many voices available that people have created. We just have to find the one that suits the best. You can even sort out via accent, gender, or the age of the voice. Just hear the samples and select the one you think is better. In my case, I’m looking for a teen girl, as it is common and good for audiobooks. I quite like the Valley Girl, so I added it to Voice Lab.
Now, go back to Speech Synthesis and select the voice you added. Here, you need to do some settings so the voice should sound like a real human. In voice settings, lower the stability to around 26 to 28 percent and increase the clarity plus similarity enhancement to around 85 percent. Now, copy the chapters one by one and generate the voice. Keep listening to the audio, and if you want to change settings, change them the way you like it better. As soon as the voice is generated, click on the download button and download all the generations.
Now, down below, you can see a quota limit. That’s when the problem occurs. It asks you to increase your quota limit by buying a certain package that is according to your budget. But wait, there is a solution for this as well. Keep generating the chapters until the quota ends. Now, let’s say the second chapter was half done and the quota limit was reached. What you have to do is then log out from this account and go to the temp mail website, generate a new email, and create a new account on 11 Labs. A new account means you’ll have a new quota limit. Now, search for the same voice you worked with in the previous account and set the settings to the same as before, and continue your work.
When the complete audiobook is done and downloaded in parts, just use an audio joiner available on the internet to compile the audios into one single audiobook. Link to the site is in the description down below. Alright, fellas, now one last thing to do to complete our audiobook is to make a cover for it. For that, we’ll use a website called Canva. Search for audiobook covers, and you’ll get many templates. Select the one that suits you most and edit it out the way you want.
