Now, let’s look at these children’s story books. At first, you might wonder what’s so appealing about them. However, after conducting extensive research, I was amazed at the amount of money these sellers made from providing simple story books. Take this book as an example. It boasts a 1,449 rating. Multiply that number by its $11.90 price, and you’ll find that the seller made over $117,000 on that book alone. Now consider another example, a book with 12,125 ratings priced at $11.90. This brought in more than $44,000 in revenue. And if that doesn’t surprise you, check out this story book. It generated more than $78,000 in sales.
What’s really cool is that you can publish these books for free using Amazon KDP. Can you imagine that you can create a similar book using ChatGPT, publish it on Amazon, and generate passive income that continues while you sleep? That’s why I decided to make this video to help as many people as possible.
As you probably know, the first step to create a compelling story book is coming up with a compelling story idea. So, I turned to ChatGPT to create a title for a children’s story book. The initial suggestion was ‘The Magical Adventures of Luna the Lighthouse Cat’. However, I felt it needed something more appealing, so I tried again. ‘The Magical Adventures of Luna the Little Star’ sounds good, so I will choose it.
The next step is to find the context of the story. As you can see, I asked ChatGPT to create chapters for the story. It created the chapters, and each one describes the scenes in detail.
Now that we’ve built the story framework, we can begin the process of creating actual content based on these chapters. It’s a simple process. Just copy the first chapter, ‘Luna’s Tumble from the Sky’, paste it into the chat, and ask it to create a pasted story. Once created, read it, and if it doesn’t meet your expectations, you can always regenerate the answer until satisfied. I followed the same process for all chapters, and to my surprise, it took only a few minutes to realize that I had a complete story ready to be turned into a book that could generate passive income without having to write it personally.
A single word. It is quite remarkable how quickly we developed the story idea, drafted the chapters, and created the story content. All of these are done with ChatGPT. However, believe me when I say that the really impressive part is coming soon. We all know that it’s not enough to have the best story idea without illustrations. Traditionally, to get a piece of art, it can cost you thousands of dollars to hire an artist to create it. But what if I revealed that all the images you’re viewing on this screen were created entirely with the AI art generator and didn’t cost a dime?
You may have heard of AI-generated art and how it can create original images just by typing text. This is exactly what I used to complete the illustrations for the first chapter of my story. Let me demonstrate how AI art creators make various choices. I will use Mid Journey. It offers the most satisfying experience. You can try it for free. Search for ‘Mid Journey’ after signing up, join their Discord server, and you will have access to a stream of recently created images. That means new images appear every second.
To create your image, you need to launch a prompt. Start by typing ‘/imagine’. Once that’s done, you can start sketching the image you want to create. Review the story chapters you have created previously. In my case, the first sentence was ‘Luna’s Tumble from the Sky’. Now that we have a clear picture in mind, type the ‘/imagine’ and then enter your chapter topic.
Once the image creation is complete, you will see two rows of images. In the top row, you’ll find U1, U2, U3, and U4, which are used to scale up the selected image, essentially creating upscaled versions of that image. In the bottom row, you’ll find V1, V2, V3, and V4, creating four new variations that maintain the overall style and layout of your chosen image.
In short, if you click on one, it will upscale the original image, while clicking on V1 will create new variations of the same image. In my case, I like the first image better, so I clicked on U1 to upscale it.
I repeated this process for all the images, and in about 30 minutes, all the illustrations were ready to use for the video. Now, I won’t follow the same steps for each chapter of this video, but you’ll get the point. Read each part, create images that match the part of your story.
Now that we’ve created our images, let me walk you through the process of combining text generated by ChatGPT with images generated through Mid Journey to create a polished, professional-looking storybook. Start by going to canva.com and searching for ‘storybook’. When you find it, click ‘Create a blank storybook’. Then, start the process by uploading an AI-generated image to Canva. From there, you can easily drag and drop your first image onto the template.
Now, switch to ChatGPT and copy the beginning of the story. Paste it on top of your image in Canva. At this point, you have the opportunity to adjust the text to your liking. You can change the text color, font style, add shadows, and more. One of the reasons I like Canva is that it’s user-friendly and requires no design skills. In addition, it is free.
Once your work is done, you can click to duplicate the model. This step saves real time as it allows you to easily incorporate new images and text while keeping a consistent style throughout the book. Next, repeat this same process for each chapter in your book. Copy the story text from ChatGPT and add the images you’ve created in Mid Journey.
Once you have completed all the chapters, download the book as a PDF file. Congratulations! You have successfully created your first storybook. Just one more step to start your passive income journey: publish your book on Amazon.
