Welcome back everyone. Today we have an exciting topic to discuss: how ChatGPT’s powerful output can be used to create stunning Google Slides using artificial intelligence. So let’s dive right in.
To begin, let’s generate the content for our Google Slides presentation using ChatGPT. We can ask ChatGPT to provide us with a script for each slide.
Open a browser and type ‘slides.new’ to open Google Slides. Then go to extensions and click ‘Generate Slides’. Let’s copy the ChatGPT script and paste it here. Select the presentation type and how many slides you want to create.
Check if you need a title and thank you slide as well. Do you want images to be added to your slide? Let’s go to theme to see what options we have. Hover on the theme and click ‘Preview’ to see the details. Scroll down and try another one. I think I like the earlier one, so let’s select it. Click ‘Save’ and go back to the editor.
Now that everything is set up, let’s hit ‘Create Slides’ and let the magic happen. It takes a few seconds, and there you go, your slides are ready.
Let’s review. The first slide is a brief about the topic. Now, if you carefully observe, it’s not the exact script I had given, but the script is optimized to suit the first slide. I love this title slide.
Next slide is reason one. It’s a very well-made slide. Go to the next slide. Wow, I love the image and bullets on this slide. Next slide, it’s amazing to see that it gave examples of the failed projects. That’s wonderful.
Next slide is about the second reason. I think it couldn’t figure out the app title, so let’s add the title. Let’s check the next reason. Look at the image, it’s so relevant to the topic. Next slide, it’s a wonderful slide. I think it needs a bit of work.
Next slide is our end slide. That’s okay, let’s go back to the communication slide. I think this image is not relevant. Let’s go to ‘Magic Right’ and see what we have. I think I want to find another image. Let’s check out more images. I think I want to use this image. Let’s adjust the image so the pen and writing pad are in focus.
Now that we have looked at the most common features, let’s compare if this AI-powered tool is worth using. Let’s look at the cons. First point, sometimes it couldn’t find the perfect title or the most relevant image. A review of the slide is required. Second point, it has a limited template library.
Now let’s look at the advantages. First point, it actually saves a significant amount of time that we otherwise spend in thinking about the design and searching for it on the internet and customizing it for our needs. Second point, it gives you a lot of royalty-free images and designs.
