Exploring Story Ideas: A Tree of Thought

The research work I did today is influenced by a tree of thought. So, Tria thought, how many of you have seen basically where we start off and we have a problem? Our first problem is that we’re trying to figure out how we want to do this. Women’s fiction is a problem, and many problems have multiple solutions. The next step is to evaluate these solutions for the tree part. When I saw this drawing in the white papers, I realized that we are already kind of doing this with our Mega prompting and with our analysis. The AI can actually do this analysis. Let’s imagine our story problem is a women’s fiction story, and we have three story things to consider. I want the AI to go ahead and look at these and imagine the end results of where these could go, and then determine which one of the three is actually the strongest. I used Chachi BT for the prompt. Here are five detailed ideas for a women’s fiction serialized Saga. Each idea consists of five episodes with each episode having a clear cliffhanger at the end. Idea one has a strong connection between episodes, but lacks direct connection between cliffhangers. Idea two includes exciting plots, but some episodes feel like standalone stories. Idea three has a clearer story arc and a satisfying resolution. Each AI ranked the ideas differently, showing that there is no right answer. Overall, analyzing and refining story ideas is an important step in the writing process.
