Exploring Language Models: ChatGPT and GPT-3.5

Hi everyone, welcome back to our channel. Over the next couple of weeks, we will be discussing the fascinating world of AI. In this video, we will be focusing on two language models: ChatGPT and GPT-3.5.

Language models like ChatGPT and GPT-3.5 are designed to generate text based on prompts. They have been developed by OpenAI and Google, respectively.

In this video, we will explore how these models perform by trying out different prompts. We will compare their outputs and discuss their strengths and weaknesses.

Let’s start with ChatGPT. This model provides a function that helps retrieve names from tabs on Google Sheets. It generates a list of tab names and retains the names of the tabs. This feature can be useful for data retrieval.

Next, we will try out GPT-3.5. This model also generates responses to prompts, but it provides different drafts of the responses. This allows users to compare and choose the most suitable answer. We will compare the outputs of different drafts and evaluate their quality.

Moving on, we will test the models with coding prompts. We will generate Python code for tasks like retrieving data from Google Sheets and calculating the factorial of a number. We will compare the outputs of both models and discuss their performance.

In addition to coding prompts, we will also explore the models’ capabilities in generating poetry. We will provide prompts related to nature and evaluate the quality of the generated poems.

Lastly, we will ask the models to explain the concept of blog posts. We will compare their explanations and assess their clarity and accuracy.

Overall, both ChatGPT and GPT-3.5 are powerful language models that can generate impressive outputs. While ChatGPT is still in the experimental stage, GPT-3.5 has shown promising results. OpenAI is continuously working on improving these models, and future versions are expected to deliver even better performance.

If you are interested in exploring language models further, you can upgrade to GPT-4, which offers advanced features and enhanced performance.
