Once you’re logged in, you can choose your preferred account, such as Google, Microsoft, or Apple. After logging in, you can select the book you want to work with. For this demonstration, I’ll be using a book written by a broker. I’ll copy a portion of the book to work with. I’ve also prepared a prompt for the AI, instructing it to proofread, punctuate, and edit for grammatical coherence. I’ve specifically asked the AI to maintain the sentence structure and leave all dialogues intact. This is because I’ve noticed that if you ask the AI to edit for grammatical coherence, it may rewrite some sentences to sound better according to its own judgment. So, I’m instructing the AI to only make necessary alterations. Once you’ve entered your prompt, you can send the message to start the editing process. The AI will quickly generate the edited version of your book. You can then copy and paste the edited text into a separate document for further review. If you’re not satisfied with the results, you can regenerate the text by changing the prompt. This AI-powered editing tool can save you time and effort in the editing process of your book.
