I am bored and I cannot be bothered thinking about anything to draw. So, let’s ask ChatGPT for some inspiration. This is the second time I’ve turned to ChatGPT and asked what I should draw. When you are low on ideas or motivation, sometimes it helps to get out of your normal thought pattern and design something different for a change.
The website is up and running, so I’m going to jump in and ask a few questions to see what we get back in response. After that, I will start a drawing based on the suggestions.
As an artist, I am looking for something to draw. One suggestion from ChatGPT is to imagine a character who travels through the vastness of space, exploring distant galaxies and discovering cosmic wonders. While it’s not super inspiring, I decide to ask for more suggestions.
Finally, ChatGPT suggests drawing animals in unexpected situations, like a surfing penguin or a baron joining a cup of tea. I find this idea perfect and decide to base my drawing on it.
I start by sketching the basic shapes of the rat that I’m drawing. Then, I refine the outlines and start building the layers using the studio brush. This brush allows me to create a nice taper and is perfect for outlining.
Once I’m satisfied with the outlines, I leave the drawing at that stage for now. This process of asking ChatGPT for suggestions and pushing myself outside my normal artistic box has been a great way to explore new styles and ideas.
Although the drawing is not complete, I’m happy with the progress so far. This fine art project has been a fun and inspiring experience. I will definitely be doing it again in the future. If you have any tips or questions for future ChatGPT sessions, please let me know in the comments.
