Today, I believe in the saying ’throwing everything but the kitchen sink’. In this article, I will explore the use of AI in designing an organic skin care website. I want to see how AI can influence and guide the design process to create a visually appealing and cohesive website.
To start, I will use the AI tool Relum to generate a wireframe for the website. Relum provides a variety of tools for designers and developers, such as webflow and figma. After inputting a company description, Relum quickly generates a basic site map and wireframe based on the description.
Next, I will create a mood board for inspiration. I will gather ideas from various sources, including colors, section layouts, and product displays. Using Figma, I will refine the wireframe based on the inspiration and ideas collected from the mood board.
Now it’s time to focus on branding. I will use AI tools like Mid Journey to generate a logo and product photos. I will also use AI Colors to create a color palette for the website. With these elements, I will update the layout and add small design details to give the website a polished look.
In total, I have used seven AI tools throughout the design process. These tools have helped me generate the wireframe, create copy text, design the logo and product photos, and choose the color palette. Although this process is different from a typical client project, it serves as an experiment to explore the outcome of heavily involving AI in the design process.
