Did you know that Google’s googliness and Leadership interview is probably the most underestimated interview of them all? Well, you’re not alone. In the second episode of our three-part series, we’re decoding a way to really practice for the googliness and Leadership interview to help you have great success. So get your notes ready, we’re going to serve up some actionable strategies and real-life examples with the help of our bestie, ChatGPT.
To start off, we need to understand the most important leadership qualities from the job description. By pasting the job description into ChatGPT, we can categorize and further describe these qualities. This will guide us in answering questions and showcasing our leadership skills.
Next, we analyze Bob Smith’s resume, which is a real resume for a Technical Account Manager role at Google Cloud Consulting. We compare Bob’s experience and skills with the leadership qualities and googliness perspective identified earlier. This helps us highlight relevant examples from Bob’s career.
In addition to leadership skills, decision making is also crucial in the googliness and Leadership interview. We incorporate decision-making aspects into our preparation by considering informed decision making, technical expertise, and customer-centricity.
To practice for the interview, we ask ChatGPT to generate 10 hypothetical and 10 behavioral questions. These questions cover various aspects of leadership, googliness, and decision making. We can use these questions to simulate the interview and prepare our responses.
Finally, we align Bob’s resume with the identified qualities and questions. We determine the best examples to highlight from Bob’s career that demonstrate his leadership, googliness, and decision-making abilities.
By following this process, we can effectively prepare for the googliness and Leadership interview. Remember to tailor your responses to your own experience and skills. Good luck!
