Creating Engaging Videos with Canva

Creating Engaging Videos with Canva

This channel has over 230,000 subscribers with just 46 videos. It’s truly amazing! Almost all the videos are short, but look at these incredible numbers. Let’s sort them by views and you’ll be amazed to find one video with over 4 million views. These numbers clearly indicate the channel’s tremendous success. What’s even more astonishing is that the channel is only two months old. In just two months, the channel owner managed to accumulate more than 24 million views. This shows that the content is exceptionally strong.

The exciting news is that creating this type of content is surprisingly easy. Let’s take a look at this video: ‘What would you rather: pizza or sushi?’ Like I said before, making this content is really easy. The amazing thing about this content is that it makes the viewer respond, like leaving a comment, which keeps them watching the video till the end. That’s why YouTube shares it with more people so many can see it. That’s how we explain the impressive numbers we saw earlier. In a short time, to be honest with you, my friend, you won’t find anything easier than this incredibly strong content.

Now let’s start the video. Watch it all the way through so you don’t miss anything. First, you’ll find this script in the description box. Through this script, I asked ChatGPT to create 50 questions in a table format. In each question, you have to choose between two options. I also asked it to put the first option in the first column, the second option in the second column, and suggest a fictional percentage for people who chose the first option in the third column, and the same for the fourth column for people who chose the second option. I gave them an example to help him understand exactly what I wanted. After that, he provided me with the exact table I needed. It’s amazing! You can really get creative with this script.

Now let’s move on to the important part. You’ll need to focus a bit more on this, my friend. We’re going to create a video that’s exactly like the one we saw on the channel. First, go to Canva.com, which is a well-known website. Choose ‘Video’ and then ‘Mobile Video’. Extend the page to 6.8. Then click in the middle of the page and press the ‘R’ key to create a rectangle. Move it here and make it this size. Try to place it in the middle of the page. Change its color to red. After that, create another rectangle by pressing the ‘R’ key. Place it here and make it take up the rest of the page. Then choose the color blue. Now let’s make another rectangle the same way, but this time we’ll leave it in the middle. Follow the same steps I’m doing and make it black. Press the ‘R’ key again to create a rectangle, but this time we’ll change it into a circle by clicking on ‘Shape’ and selecting ‘Circle’. Then make it smaller and place it in the middle.

Now we’re going to add text. Go to ‘Text’ and choose ‘Add a Heading’. Then type ‘or’ and put the text in the center of the circle. Change the text color to white, change the font to Brisika, and finally make the text size 70. Go back to ‘Text’ and select ‘Add a Heading’ again. Place it here and type ‘pizza’. Then go to ‘Animate’ and choose ‘Typewriter’. This will add a nice effect. Next, go to ‘Effect’ and select ‘Outline’. Change the color to black and finally change the font to Prosecca. After that, click on ‘Duplicate’ and place it here. Change the text to ‘Burger’. Now click on ‘or’, go to ‘Animate’, and choose ‘Pop’. Then go down and select ‘Pulse’ to make it move in this way.

Now let’s add the percentages. We’ll follow the same method as before and put in some fictional percentages. After that, right-click and select ‘Show Timing’ to set specific times for when we want things to appear and disappear. Just follow the same steps I’m doing. I change the display time for pizza to about 0.8 seconds and for burger to about 1.2 seconds so that pizza appears first and then burger. To change the timing for anything on the page, just click on it and adjust the timing. We’ll hide pizza when the time reaches 5.1 seconds, and the same for burger.

As for the percentages, we’ll start showing it while hiding pizza and burger. Put the cursor on the pizza disappearance and make the percentage start appearing at that time. Great! Now let’s add some sound effects. We’ll use the alarm clock sound, like an egg timer. Tick tock. For pizza and burger, when they are fully displayed and end when those words finish, add a sound effect called ‘Bell ding’. After that, we’ll move the percentages on top of the words so that when the words disappear, the percentages appear in their place. But the sound effect when pizza and burger appear, use ‘Whoosh’ and sync it with the appearance of the words.

If you can’t click on 64 for some reason, you can zoom in on the page, select ‘Layer’, and then ‘Center Backward’ to place it behind the pizza word, allowing you to click on pizza. Great job! Now let’s add the table and create multiple pages automatically. To do this, go to ‘App’ and then search for ‘Bulk’. Go back to ChatGPT and copy the entire table. Then return to Canva, click on ‘Bulk Creation’, select ‘Enter Data Manually’, scroll down, click ‘Clear Table’, and then paste the table. Finally, click ‘Done’.

Now be careful when linking the words to the table. Zoom in on the image to avoid any mistakes. Make sure you selected pizza, right-click, and connect data to link it to ‘Thing One’. Place ‘Thing One’ behind the percentage to make it easier to click. Do the same for burger and its respective percentage. After finishing, click ‘Continue’ and then ‘Generate’. Canva will create 50 pages based on the table. You’ll need to manually add sound effects to each page.

Now let’s add images for more visual appeal. Go to ‘Elements’ and type the name of the first option, pizza. I chose this image and placed it above the word pizza. Then resized it a bit. Next, search for burger. Click on ‘Graphics’ and add the image you like below the word burger. Now we’ll make each image appear according to the relevant word. The pizza image will appear when pizza is displayed, and the burger image will appear when burger is displayed.

After that, add animation. I chose ‘Pan’ as it seems suitable for both images. Finally, change the color of the higher percentage to green, and if you want, change the color of the lower percentage to red.

Now let’s add audio to make the video more engaging. Go to ‘Tastemaker.com’ and type the names of the items like pizza or burger. Select the voice you prefer, complete the captcha, and click ‘Convert’. Download the file and add it to Canva. Then place it at the beginning of each word, like pizza. For me, I’ll only cover the first page in the video, but for your project, add images and sound effects to each page.

And finally, download the video by going to ‘Share’ and then ‘Download’.
