Hello again and welcome back! In this lecture, we will learn how to create effective email campaigns to reach and engage our subscribers. Specifically, we will focus on sending out an optimized blog post to our email subscribers using MailChimp.
To start, log in to your MailChimp account and navigate to the ‘Create’ section. Select ‘Email Regular’ and give your campaign a name, such as ‘Benefit of Blue Light Glasses and Gaming’. Choose the new Builder option and select a minimal template.
Next, design your email by removing unnecessary elements and adding relevant content. You can add an image of your blog post and write an enticing piece of text to grab your subscribers’ attention. Make sure to highlight the benefits of the article and include a clear call to action.
Once your email is designed, you can add your logo and customize the settings. Set the subject line and preview text to entice your subscribers to open the email. You can also add a link to your blog post and format the email to make it visually appealing.
After reviewing and saving your email, you can send it to all your subscribed contacts. Keep in mind that it may take some time for the email to be delivered to everyone. Once the campaign is sent, you can check the email report to analyze its performance. Look at the open rate and click rate to evaluate the effectiveness of your campaign.
Congratulations! You have successfully created your first email campaign and sent it to your subscribers. In the next lecture, we will explore different types of email campaigns and provide copy-paste prompts to help you create engaging emails. Stay tuned!
