Creating an Online Business Using AI

Creating an Online Business Using AI

I’ve set myself a challenge to create a complete online business using chatbot AI and then test the power of AI by running paid ads to determine if a product created with AI can potentially succeed. I was pleasantly surprised by the results, so keep watching to see how it all unfolded.

In the previous video, I explained how to use chatbot AI to create digital products and demonstrated it with a printable planner as an example. However, today is different because I’ve decided to take the concept a step further by building an entire business around it.

Here’s the plan: first, we need to enhance the product to make it unique and add more value. Then, we have to present the final product in the best way possible by creating a high-converting online store. The last step will involve launching paid ads to attract potential customers.

I came up with the idea of creating a book about habits and selling it alongside the printable planner. This is an ideal way to add value to any product and make it more appealing. I asked the chatbot to provide me with the outline structure of the book, and within seconds, it generated all the chapters, each with three sections.

I simply copied the first chapter and pasted it into the chat to create the content. After that, it was a matter of copying and pasting until I completed all sections. Then, I realized we didn’t have a name for the ebook yet. Did I pay someone a thousand dollars for five options? Of course not. I asked the chatbot, and it provided me with 10 options. ‘Weeks to a Better Use’ stood out the most to me, so I went with that.

Next, I needed a tagline for the book cover. A tagline’s purpose is to entice people to read the book. Again, the chatbot gave me 10 options, and I chose ‘Unlock Your Potential’ as the tagline.

With the content completed, I headed to Canva to design the book cover. I created a simple design featuring three elements: the tagline at the top, followed by the book title and an illustration representing the content. On the second page, I included a short description of the book and what’s included, also generated using chatbot AI.

Then, I created the table of contents page, listing all chapters and sections. After that, I began copying the sections from chatbot AI and pasted them into Canva. It only took me 15 minutes to complete all sections and have my ebook ready.

With a bit of Photoshop and Canva magic, I created the product image. Even though we only had simple templates, the design style and presentation have added value to the product. This design style has proven effective and is often used to sell high-ticket products and courses.

Now that everything is ready, it’s time to build the online store. After some research, I found that the best option for selling these types of products would be a landing page. This means you don’t need a website with many pages; all you need is a simple page with the essential elements.

I structured the page in Google Docs and then headed to Shopify to design the landing page. The landing page includes a striking headline to grab attention and highlight the main features of the product. Below that, you’ll find the product image we created, along with the name, price, and more benefits. Testimonials are added to provide social proof.

The next step is to launch the campaign. I decided to run ads on Facebook and Instagram to test the product. I created two different images and ad copies to see what works best. The ads were targeted at people interested in self-development in the top five countries: the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

After two days of running ads, we had 200 people click on the ad and visit the website. There were eight added to cart, three reached checkout, and two purchases. While we didn’t turn a profit in these two days, it’s important to note that making a profit in the first week of testing is rare.

I don’t consider this challenge a failure because the ads will continue to gather data, and the results should improve over time. With some adjustments to the website and ad creatives, we might make this store profitable.

In conclusion, creating an online business using AI has real potential. The well-crafted landing page and ad creatives have shown promising results. Testing and optimizing the product are crucial steps in achieving success. Stay tuned for more updates on this series!
