Part 1: Create Video Script Using ChatGPT To create our video script, we will use chatGPT. In this example, I asked chatGPT to generate a dialogue between two aliens who are planning to invade Earth.
Part 2: Install Text to Animate We will use Plotagon, a text to film software available for Windows, Android, and iOS. Download the Plotagon for Windows installer from the desktop app menu and follow the installation instructions.
Part 3: Text Plate Scene Before creating any scene, let’s create our very first movie project. Open Plotagon Studio and click ‘Create Video’ to start creating your animated movie. Now, add a textplate scene for our opening scene and paste or type your opening text or title.
Part 4: Scene Background To create a new movie scene, click the movie clapper menu and select the scene background.
Part 5: Create Character Add an actor to our scene by clicking the actor menu. You can select a pre-made character or create your own character. Customize your character’s gender, face shape, color, hairstyle, and apparel. Choose a voice style for your character.
Part 6: Set Character Position Change your character’s position by clicking the position menu on the right side of your character’s name. Set the desired position.
Part 7: Camera Style Add a camera style by clicking the camera icon and selecting your desired camera style.
Part 8: Sound Effect Add a sound effect to your scene by clicking the bell icon and selecting your desired sound effect.
Part 9: Dialogue Add a new dialog to the current scene by clicking the dialog icon. Select your character from the list and paste your dialog script from chatGPT.
Part 10: Character Animation Animate your character by selecting an animation from the animation menu on the right side of the character’s name. Repeat these steps until the end of the dialogue.
Once everything is set, click the export button to render the video or export the project. Choose your preferred resolution and click render video.
