Hello everyone, I’m a beginner entrepreneur and enthusiast inspired by AI technologies. In the previous episode, I tested the hypothesis: can a non-programmer create a mobile application with the help of AI? And I managed to create a tic-tac-toe game in just 5 minutes with only a description and ChatGPT. This changed my perception of the possibilities that opened up before us. Now, I want to understand how AI can help an entrepreneur create a startup from idea to first sale.
I decided to create a startup using only my soft skills and AI expertise. In this episode, I will tell you the niche I have chosen for my new mobile application. I will conduct a competitive analysis and market trend review. I will design the layout for the application and then build the first working prototype. At every stage, I will apply ChargePT.
For the niche, I have chosen to create a flashcard application. As a non-native English speaker, I regularly practice and use various tools to improve my vocabulary. I found that existing flashcard apps did not fully meet my needs. So, I had ideas about the functionality of my imaginary app, which I wrote down in my notebook.
To conduct a competitive analysis, I used ChargePT and the included search plugin. I decomposed the analysis into four tasks and obtained key trends, analyzed key players, and reviewed user feedback. Based on the analysis, I received recommendations for the minimum functionality that should be included in the MVP of the flashcard application.
Next, I started implementing the first prototype of the application using Swift UI. I visualized the layout in Figma and demonstrated the components’ operation on three screens: the main screen, the word addition screen, and the practice screen. I described the functionality in detail and provided ready-made code for each component.
After several iterations and fixes, I finally got a fully functional prototype. The user can create, practice, and delete flashcards. I am very excited about creating my first project in the mobile app market. AI technologies, like ChargePT, have helped me overcome technical barriers and shape my business strategy.
