Yo, what’s up guys? It’s Code Magnet back with another video. Today, we’re going to be creating a Roblox game using only ChatGPT’s ideas. Now, when I say ‘using’, I don’t mean coding. I’m actually going to program it myself. But for everything else, such as the game’s ideas, name, and character names, we’ll be relying on ChatGPT. So let’s get started.
First, I’ll open up the ChatGPT app on Opera GX and type in a prompt. I’ll ask it to give me a list of Roblox game genres. Once I press enter, it will generate a list of genres for me. I’ll then paste these genres into my ‘My Name Generator’ wheel.
Next, I’ll spin the wheel to randomly choose a genre for our game. And the genre we get is ‘Adventure Game’. According to ChatGPT, an adventure game involves exploration, quests, and puzzles. Now, since I’m a single person doing everything for this game, I won’t be able to create a full adventure game. But we can still get the base idea, the theme, and the name of the game.
I’ve created a Google Docs document called ‘ChatGPT Roblox Game Ideas’ where I’ll be documenting everything. I’ll paste the description of the adventure genre in the document for reference.
Now, I’ll search for a list of Roblox game names for an adventure genre. Once I have the list, I’ll spin the wheel again to randomly choose a name for our game. The name we get is ‘The Quest for Celestial Shards’. I’ll copy and paste this name into our document.
Next, I’ll ask ChatGPT for a plot for an adventure game on Roblox. It gives us a plot and another name, ‘Chronicles of the Astral Revenants’. I’ll take this name and remove the previous one, so now our game is called ‘Chronicles of the Astral Revenants: The Quest for Celestial Shards’.
The general plot that ChatGPT has given us is that in a realm where magic and technology intertwine, an ancient prophecy resurfaces, foretelling the return of an astral revenant, a powerful being capable of reshaping reality itself. The realm is on the brink of chaos as factions vie for control over this enigmatic force. You, a young adventurer, find yourself drawn into the heart of this conflict, destined to uncover the secrets of the astral revenant and decide the fate of the realm.
That’s the basic idea of our game. It’s like Minecraft Story Mode, where you can reshape reality and teleport between different dimensions. But keep in mind that I’ll only be using ChatGPT’s ideas for the names, description, genre, and plot of the game. I’ll be making the actual game myself.
In the next episode, I’ll open up Roblox Studio and start working on the game. I’m thinking of making it a multiplayer game, but I’ll ask for your opinion on that. Stay tuned!
